Spend your money on another fan!
I installed this fan in my old house before moving, this fan pushed very direct air (right under fan) but the air movement wasn’t that good despite being under it. The fan made a really loud buzzing motor noise on all speeds, and the fan pull chain snapped off after only being in use for 2 months. I would recommend that you to spend these $100 elsewhere on another fan.

Very noisy
Bought 4 and installed. Of all the Hampton Bay ceiling fans that I have bought and installed - the Devron model is by far the worst in terms of noise. One fan was rubbing so bad, right out of the box, I returned it and got another. All 4 make an irritating noise. I know how to install and balance fans. Would not by the Devron model again. Never had an issue with Hampton Bay fans before. Very disappointing.

Thank you for your review. The fan should have included a 6" downrod. If the downrod is missing, please call Hampton Bay customer service at 1-855-HD-HAMPTON (1-855-434-2678) and one of the team members will be able to send a replacement downrod. The fan is able to be installed on an angled ceiling with a maximum angle of 30 degrees. If the installing on an angled ceiling, you may need an extension downrod to ensure proper blade to ceiling clearance.

Good value but not perfect
Bought the white version for our kitchen. Installation is pretty typical for these fans. The quick attach blades are nice compared to the usual 3 screws per blade.
My only complaints:
The fan can get a subtle wobble on medium (close to ceiling mount). Low and high seem to be 99% better. Everything is level and installed correctly, so it's unfortunate to see that.
The bottom cap for the light wiring won't mount completely flush. It has gaps in the areas between the screws.

High speed motor is loud, can be heard in another room. It Is NOT the swish of the blades, it is the high speed motor selection.

Easy to install, Very Quiet.
Very easy to install. Very quiet. Came with four LED bulbs that are standard size. It uses pull strings, which is what we wanted.

fan started making whinning noise after 3 months
installation was decent, product looks and feels good, but after 3 months or basic use, it started making a humming/whinning noise. was lucky enough to get a refund or the manufacturers warranty only covers parts and not freight. it would have costed more time, energy and efforts to fix the fan than its actual cost.
