It fit perfectly, but it should come with the fan...
It fit perfectly, but it should come with the fan automatically and not have to be ordered separately. It's just a good thing that Home Depot was able to get the part

The switch cap is fine but what I find amazing is that it was not included in the purchase of the fan. The package states the fan can be installed with or without the light fixture but the switch cap must be ordered separately on line. Home Depot does not stock this item.
