Missing shelves
I ordered two Hampton Bay 36 by 36 wall cabinets.it took 12 days to get them.one cabinet cardboard box was completely ripped off the cabinet and both cabinets were missing shelves and dowels to hold the shelves.should have been two shelves per unit.there was one shelf per unit after going to home Depot I was told just return them.i already mounted them and find it unacceptable to go thru a return to get missing shelves

      This was a nightmare. I live on an island. The Home Depot customer service rep assured me it could be delivered to me with the island address in 3 days. After 3 weeks and half dozen LENGTHY phone calls (one day I was on the phone for three hours!!!) I had a supervisor tell me it could not be delivered because of my location. I said fine, deliver it to the store near me and I’ll have someone pick it up there and take it to the airport. I was told delivery address could not be changed. So I asked for a refund. I was told they couldn’t issue a refund since it was out for delivery! When I received it, then I could return it for a refund! Well how could I return it if they won’t deliver it???? This was the most frustrating experience I have EVER had with ANY purchase in my adult life, and I’m almost 60 years old.! The delivery company had the cabinet, but couldn’t release it to me without Home Depot authorization, even though my name was on it as paid in full. A supervisor finally approved a special delivery to the airport (which is the size of a house with one receptionist) so I could finish my kitchen (WEEKS after it should have been delivered). Outrageous.
