These lights are the brightest I could find. Our street is dark and we live at the end of a cul-de-sac. It lights up so well, we are the talk of the neighborhood! I've had the lights a year now and have only had to replace one light that broke when we had our roof replaced. I forgot to move it out of the way and falling shingles caused the break. It was easy to install.

The light wattage is perfect for a path light. I do like how the light shines up and reflects off the top. The only downside is the light housing is plastic. This light needs to be made with a me housing like the spotlight.

These are far better than the old-style Malibu landscape lighting, pretty much a plug and play replacement if you already have low voltage wiring in place. Real glass lens and bright LED lighting illuminate well. I used them along the perimeter of the backyard, but they would work along path or walkways just as well. One word of caution: they are a little top-heavy, and the majority of the frame is plastic. This means if they are accidently hit or bumped, they can and will snap off at the top of the support post. They would be more durable if the support connection were metal. Maybe a next generation will consider this.

The price was exceptionally good. As landscape lights, they work well and are quite bright. However, the light is directed in all directions including upwards so that the light along a pathway is in your eyes and you can’t see the path! Perhaps a wider top, directing more light downward would be better.
