Used it to brighten up the look of our living room. Added some funky retro vibes to our mid century modern flair. Looks best with a simple off white drum shade which classes up the place. Well made heavier metal sits solid and not have to worry if animals knock it over when we are not home no glass or porcelain. Get a plastic coated bulb for extra pet protection. Would prefer a 3 way switch. Drum shade can cast the wire frame upward in higher watts or cool blue bulb color. Nice mood lighting with warm white light to read by at 60 watts. Get two for each end Calming at nighttime. Hubby likes. Slim design and height lets us have conversation between our seats with slim table between us.

I bought 2 of these lamps for a guest bedroom. They are really cute with a white drum shade and go great with the white wood headboard, which also has a similar style on the bed posts. The price was key though as these were on clearance when I ordered them.

Beautiful lamp that is very sturdy. I was afraid it was going to be cheap plastic that would fall over every time I'd walk by once I put a lampshade on it. But it's very heavy, the lacquer is flawless but not gawdy and even my husband likes it!

Loved it perfect for area I needed it

I’d been looking for a lamp for my bedroom. This lamp was on sale for $6 and I love the style.

Depending upon your particular style, this may or may not be for you. That being said, it is a good quality item but three Hampton Bay brand that is versatile depending upon the bulb and shade used! It is pretty sturdy/solid despite how it looks via pictures. This base is reasonably priced at Home Depot as well. If you are in need of new lamps ata reasonable price and good quality, then this is a good choice

I was concerned about this lamp being a bit 'wobbly' because is looks to be kind of 'strung together' from component parts, but it is very solid. Comes with a harp, so you can mount pretty much any shade you like, quickly and easily. The switch has a very positive feel, not sloppy like some light switches are. And it will accommodate relatively high wattage light bulbs, so it is swell for reading. Have it in my office and it is working out quite nicely.

I have been looking for new lamps for my living room that don’t cost a small fortune and that will match with my red striped couch and chair. I don’t have a lot of shopping choices in my area and other online stores can be pricey so I checked this out online and it fit the bill, it’s rather tall and beautifully shaped, it doesn’t come with a shade so now I’m searching for the perfect one.

The table lamp is of a good height for a table application. With a harp and shade, it will fit appropriately with the other furniture. The classic white color fits with all. And, the shape is not the ginger jar form, hard to find an attractive form alternative. While shipping of a lamp base has always been a concern, the lamp arrived well packed and undamaged. Considering the price point and lamp quality, definitely a recommended product.
