Blade bracket defect led to blade flying off and nearly injuring myself and my guests.

The fan came in a very timely manner and in great shape. We had a contractor install it but he never has any trouble. It looks great on our covered porch which we just had remodeled and fits in perfectly with our outdoor lights which we also got from Home Depot.

I ordered two of the fans and they arrived on schedule. They were easy to assemble and install. I flush mounted both of them to my patio ceiling. They are high quality and reasonably priced.

Perfect for Patio fan, well engineered, important to follow the instructions for correct order of assemble.

Love the fan. Installed it in my bedroom. Looks great, it's super quiet and circulates lots of air. Installation was relatively easy. Would definitely recommend.

These fans look very nice. They're pretty easy to assemble and install if you're a little handy. The directions are easy to follow. Have another set of hands at installation due to the weight of the fans. We're happy we bought them.

The fan itself looks great and goes well with Hampton Bay furniture. Only complaint I have is the installation of the blades. The space is to small put the screwdriver through and makes it difficult ( more than it should be) to finish setting up. Other than that it’s a nice fan with a reverse feature that works good as well.

Bought two of these from Home Depot. They look good and worked well UNTIL they quit working and we found the reverse switch falls apart. Then the fan will not work at all. Lifetime warranty is only on the motor and nothing else. Had to order 2 new switches to get the fans to work at a cost of $17.00. Neither switch had ever been used. We always leave the fan in the blowing down mode. Very disappointed in quality of construction.

This is a great fan for my outdoor patio! The only thing that I would mention is that it doesn't tell you to remove the rubber pieces where the fan turns--therefore during installation, it would start and stop due to the stoppers still being in there--they must be removed. The whole time we thought the power to the fan was an issue. Other than that, it's amazing!

The fan(s) were easy to assemble, look great, and best of all move plenty of air on my porch, which is very beneficial for Texas weather. Love the fans!!!!

Electrical connections were confusing as I have a wall switch that turns the fan on and off. The diagram/explanation in the install manual did not take that into consideration. The fan blades are not the same shape as the other PALM BEACH fans I have, although they are the same style/color.

I purchase 2 of these fans to install on our new front porch. Our house is on a river so the Palm Beach leaf blades fit in very good to our decor.

I had to search a long time before I found an outdoor weatherproof fan that was both functional and great to look at. However I found this Palm Beach White Matte ceiling fan in Home Depot's collection of Hampton Bay fans and it was just what I wanted. It came in a very well packed box, it was a breeze to assemble (no pun intended) and blended in nicely with my white pergola. The 3 speeds on the fan are more than adequate for my needs and will serve me well on those long hot summer nights outdoors.

We purchased 2 for our back porch. Didn't find installation difficult but we received all of the correct parts in our boxes and my husband is very handy. We purchased 2 because of the size of our screened in porch, so airflow has been great. Very attractive, received lots of compliments. We also purchased on sale, but even the regular price was not that bad.

Installation, ease of use, features, and quality far superior to competitors. Highly recommended. We use this fan on our patio.

I was hesitant because the fan blades were made of plastic. I went to the store and they looked pretty good so I bought online because the same exact fans were 25% less with free shipping. When in motion you can not tell that they are not real wicker and when not moving they still have a great appearance for plastic! We have very high ceilings so I also worried that they would not move the air enough because they are for a small room and the livingroom is quite large. I bought two for that room and one for the familyroom. We purchased downrods and they work fabulously! We live in Florida and they are a great alternative to keeping the A/C on all the time when it is not needed. We are VERY pleased with this product.

I just built my porch a few weeks ago and we spent a lot of time researching ceiling fans and found these not only because of the great price but also the nice looks it has and that we could connect a light kit to them. After I was done installing them, I found that they were easy to install, easy to attach a light kit to them and how quiet they are.

A climate, like Florida, wet 6-7 months out of 12 creates a myriad of obstacles. Enjoying your indoor/outdoor patio means using a minimal amount of products that rust. I'm designing a PVC/Cement space with privacy lattice that doubles as a pet barrier/playground. Small details are important, like non rusting brass screws. I was excited about replacing the previous owner's rusted fan that I rehabilitated twice. The white pvc fan blades match my pvc lattice. This Wet Rated fan provides better airflow than the fan with warped wood blades I replaced, with more features in 3 speeds and a reverse. The ceiling mounted fan went up quickly, but I already had the right mount. The fan operates fairly quietly, the cats will scare away the birds before the fan! The weatherproof rubberized pull that accompanied the fan replaced 3 other pull ends that rusted. Now, I need a wet rated light kit. The matching nautical light kit did not come with this and appears to come in natural iron only. I'm all up to hand painting it un-natural white if I can't find a match. I've DIY experience installing new fans and fixing a couple of old fans. The one size fits all electrical wire connectors that accompany the kit didn't work for me. A two light switch connection twists easier under a larger connector and I prefer wing wired connectors for older hands. As the photo shows, this looks and works in sync with a small inside, low patio space with white PVC. Staying with one simple color, the walls and ceiling are painted white, enhances the peace in the tree lined backyard. I've coveted this fan since the Palm Beach I came out, before I started the patio renovation. It looks like I imagined!

I bought these 2 Palm Beach II fans from home depot back in 08/2012 for $ 99.88 each totaling $217.. well fast forward to today 03/22/24 and i just installed 2 new replacement the exact same ones, Palm Beach II however after 10 yrs you would guess it did increase in price but not alot i paid $124.00 each totaling $ 248.00.Great price for these fans and they look great.What made me purchase the same ones 10 Yrs later is i live in Southeast Louisiana humidity wrecks havic on fanblades.For these blades to last 10yrs and then finally warp i cant complain.Heck the motor still work grear its just blades needed replacement
