They look great if left white, but the paint doesn't stick. I would not pay extra vs regular metal plates.

Needed an oversized wall plate due to some sloppy work...
Needed an oversized wall plate due to some sloppy work in the old plaster walls in my house. This covered the hole well and feels much sturdier than the plastic plates.
