Installation took about an hour or so. Looks beautiful in our living room and just what we needed in terms of cool air. Def recommend.

I can't edit my previous review, so I wanted to report that the humming issue was resolved after replacing a dimmer wall switch that didn't play well with the smart fan controller. I also uploaded a photo of the Edison bulbs dimmed with the clear glass lamp covers. The bulbs are 9W max and at 2700K they provide a warm glow to the room without the heat. Overall this is great value for the money.

This is a good medium-low price point fan, and the comments must always be considered in light of the price paid. I was looking for something that matched the decor of my office and the Edison bulbs coupled with the clear lamp covers really accents the room. The bulbs also came dimmable (not sure if it was a listed feature) and can be operated with a universal dimmable fan remote. It's an impressive package of features at a very attractive price point. There are a few things wanting with the build quality. Biggest complaint is noticeable humming at low speeds which makes it unsuitable for a media room or bedroom or having it on while you sleep. In comparison, the fan in my bedroom (also by Hampton Bay) that I've had for 7 years is very quiet at all speeds. I also have a minor complaint about the canopy screws because they are exposed where some of the more expensive models have a ring that hides the screws. In terms of installation it is pretty standard except the bracket appears to have grooves that are too wide for the screws in my outlet box. I had to rummage through the tool box for two screw nuts so that they could be secured. Having a few washers for this purpose would help.

This fan was bought as a replacement for an older ceiling hugger fan. The new fan was easy to install, runs very quietly and looks great.

I just finished installing my new Rockport fan, which was a replacement for a Glendale that had the main drive shaft come loose and created a persistent noise. See my recent post on that fan. I was very pleased when I got the Rockport installed and turned it on. It is silent and perfectly balanced! I cannot tell you how many fans I have installed in the 5 houses I have lived in, and had to balance the fan with weights, which eventually fall off. Also, many of the fans I have recently installed have a very noticeable hum. However, this Rockport fan is completely silent. I sure hope that it stays noiseless and balanced!

Easy to install and has great put put of air

Home Depot did a wonderful job on my mother’s 84th birthday to allow me to purchase and give this gift to my mother. (Also in managing all the required prep and customer safety requirements during the current health situation.) PRODUCT: Outstanding!!!! Very appreciative on all the modifications and improvements made by the manufacturer to simplify the installation process for DIY consumers. I’ve install many similar Ceiling fans over a 35 year period. This was very enjoyable. Product looks outstanding and functions efficiently and very quietly. Considering replacing other older models in my household now as well.

We bought 2 of these in order to replace non working cheap junk somebody gave us. We needed some air circulating and we needed some great quality fans with quiet and efficient operation. We love how the brushed nickel enhances the looks of our home. I, as the installer, can say that it was very easy installation and that I feel extremely satisfied. There's nothing to gripe about when it comes to these fans. The E26 bulbs are awesome. I was tired of buying the expensive candelabra light bulbs. It definitely meets and surpasses our expectations. We are going to buy more.

This fan was very simple to install that even a novice D.I.Y.er like me could do without assistance. The air circulation is perfect for a 52" fan and the breeze created by this fan is fitted for the bedroom I have it installed in. The motor is very quiet which is the main reason I was in the market for a new ceiling fan for my bedroom. I liked that the fan included LED bulbs that provide the right amount of lighting for the room. I have had the fan for about a month and usually use the fan in the evenings and have not noticed any wobble/vibration noises while it's in operation. I would reccomend this fan to anyone.

The product is very easy to install and assembly. Works great and provides wonderful lighting for the bedroom.

This is still one of my all time favorite modern ceiling fan designs. A breed of elegance and luxury while still maintaining budget value. The fan itself is very quiet and runs well. Only problem is the installation was a bit rocky but that's the fault of the designers of my apartment

All new fans these are sleek and go well with the new remodel. Trying to stay away from the antique bronze and more traditional with the black....good choice

I like the fact that the blades are reversible. The instructions were easy to follow, but definitely takes two people if you're not a professional. I also really like that it came with 3 bulbs, not sure if this is standard though.

This ceiling fan was cost effective. It adds beauty to my room. And the effect of air received when turned on is good. Cannot wait to see how it feels in deep summer
