So far so good

The first night they came on and really wS pleased. The second night they all did not light. I was worried I would have to take them back. But since then. No problem. All light and I love them.

The lightings is not as bright as I thought but the glow does reach about 3 feet in distance.

They’re easy to install, throw a a good amount of light for a walkway. The solar charge on these lasts all night.

These are the first solar lights I've found that put out sufficient light and don't emit some shadow pattern.

Easy to put together. Good lighting for the patio area.

Only stay on for about 6 hours not sure why it does that but ever since I bought them it’s raining and haven’t got 3 days sun light so far waiting to see if it’s going to work better

Easy to assemble. Doesn't go overnight yet, but these are the shortest days of the year in December

The lights are really fantastic when they are on. But they are not on very long. The solar batteries are very weak only last about two hours catchup

It does not work at rainy days. Only worked for one night then they were all dark and useless. I feel like i bought some trash. Of course if the lights are under full sun in the summer, it might be good. It is sad to see the new lights off in gloomy rainy nights.

Just bought these yesterday and they lit up bright LAST NIGHT. Not sure how long they lasted though. Tonight i can not say the same. Only 1 of the 6 is on. I live on a corner street where the sunlight hits my home all the time, so i dont know why other 5 are not on. Im honestly disapointed. They are very well built but i think the batteries i got with my lights do not work well. This means that if i want to keep them i would have to make the extra expense to purchase new batteries when i litteraly just bought these led lights. Im stuck between keeping and buying new batteries or just returning the whole thing.

I've installed these on my front lawn since about 2 weeks only. Easy install, working good so far except the charge after a full day in the FL sun lasts for only about 4 hours, which is ok. I'll give it 5 stars if the product stands the test of time.

The lights didn't work

I would like to add my voice to some of the other reviewers here that are saying these lights don't stay on for anywhere near the 8 hours advertised. In my case I got about 3-4 hours with the original batteries. I have to say that while I am very pleased with the build quality and the brightness and pattern of the light put out by these lights, I am very disappointed in their endurance/on-time. A couple of weeks ago I replaced the supplied 1000mAh batteries with fully charged 2000mAh batteries and now the lights are staying on for at least 5-6 hrs now (that's when I go to bed, but they are off when I get up a little before dawn so I don't know exactly when they shut off). My story... I purchased these lights at my local Home Depot in late September, and installed them a couple of days later. The installation location is along a brick pathway on the south side of my house. This area gets full sun exposure from sun-up to sun-down, there are no trees or other obstacles blocking the sunlight at any time during the day. FYI, I live in southern Arizona (Tucson area) so there is lots of sun to be had! These are not my first solar lights. I have some that I bought about 3 years ago that stayed lit from dusk till dawn right out of the box... and they were cheap, plastic, no-name lights I bought off a pallet in the isle at a local hardware store! However, since they were cheap no-name plastic lights they have degraded terribly in this relentless southern Arizona sun. So I bought these much more expensive, much better made (metal & glass), name brand (Hampton Bay) lights thinking that they would be even better and last even longer. It's strange to me that there is no real mention of this issue in the older reviews. There are even a couple of reviews from last December that say they are staying on for 8 hours. Maybe something has changed in the design or manufacturing of the lights that's causing a reduction in their endurance? I know Hampton Bay can make lights that stay on all night because I bought one of their solar powered spotlights (model NXT-SL-12) at the same time as these and it's been running all night from day one. Regardless, something is up with these lights. I installed them in the same place that I had older, cheaper lights that managed to stay on all night, yet these supposedly better lights will only stay on for a fraction of the time. I have not called Hampton Bay's customer service dept. I did try to go to their web site as listed in the instructions for if your having problems and all it did was bounce me to the Hampton Bay products page on Home Depot's website, so that was no help whatsoever. I therefore have little hope or incentive to call them on the phone... I fully expect I'll be connected to some oversees call center that will just read a scripted response. If Hampton Bay really cares about their products and customer service then they can contact me through this review.

Great product. Easy to assemble and install. Works as expected. Looks nice in landscaping because if the height. Liked so much purchased another set.
