Beautiful and love the lights. However, ever since it has been installed, it has made a metallic grating sound that only gets worse. Calls to customer service have not been satisfactory in getting any resolution. Paid for the fan. Paid for installation. Now we have to pay to have it uninstalled and replaced with something else? We bought 4 fans and 3 of them have this problem.

We are sorry to hear that you are having this issue. Please make sure that all parts are properly installed and completely tightened. Most grinding sounds can be attributed to loose blade arms that scrape as they rotate. There is a compete installation video located on the product page to assist with. each step of the installation. IF that does not resolve the issue, please call Hampton Bay customer service at 1-855-HD-HAMPTON (1-855-434-2678) and ask to escalate the call to a manufacturer's representative. Light cover broke
Everything was fine with this fan until I installed the light cover. It is very thin. I hand tightened it and it broke around the metal piece that holds it in place. I took the cover back to Home depot with the receipt, and they told me I could only exchange it by taking the whole fan down and bringing it all back. I ended up buying a light kit for 35 dollars to replace the cover. The cover in the light kit was of noticeably better quality. I'm very disappointed in Home Depots customer service.

      Less than a year old and already having issues
      I bought this fan and installed it less than a year ago. The fan will only operate on the lowest and medium fan setting. When I try to set it to the highest fan speed, it does nothing. It stays running at the medium speed. Disappointing.
