I have replaced this switch plate every two years. The satin finish is a spray on coating that wears through. Decided to just give in and replace entire set around room.

The aged bronze wall plate is not a colored piece of plastic it is a heavy blank wall plate. Living in a house that my grandfather built has its challenges and some head scratches. For some reason inside the bathroom is a box that was wired for a switch but instead of putting it inside it was put outside to the right of the door. So the plastic one that covered it was cracked so I replaced it with this no chance of cracking now. It goes well with the house.

These are upscale from the basic plates. A little bit pricey but they look very nice with a freshly painted room.

This wall plate matches exactly with the lock set hardware...

Scratches easy

I got this aged bronze blank wall plate to cover up a vacated telephone outlet in our hallway. All of our door hardware is aged bronze so I got this to match. The only problem I had was that the screws that came with it were not long enough and I had to purchase some longer ones. The design of the plate holds it out from the wall slightly and my outlet box was recessed in the wall so that combination left the screws short. But the end results was good.

I have quite a few old blank wall plates after upgrading my wiring, so I decided to update them with aged bronze to match the new upgrades. This wall plate is very good quality, but the screws were too short. After I took the old plates off, I noticed the size that come with the old style plates and used them. I touched them up so they would match. I would have given this item 5 stars had the screws been longer.

It fits over some of the uneven walls better than standard

This Amerelle "Steps 1" coax wall plate add a nice looking touch to your room versus the plain outlet installed by the cable company. It's an attractive antique copper color plate. All parts included to change out the wall plate along with the coax connection. You may have to make a larger hole in the wall to accommodate the coax connector. No instructions but fairly easy to figure out.

Great value! We wanted to replace the basic white coax wall plate in our kitchen so that it would match a copper outlet wall plate that is right next to it. The Hampton Bay Antique Copper Wall plate really was an excellent match. It comes packaged with three parts: 1) the threaded adaptor with a snap-on connector to allow for connecting the cable to the 2) coaxial plate which then screws into the wall and is ready for the final piece 3) the decorative copper plate. Snapping the cable into the coaxial wall plate was tricky at first, until I placed the snap-on feature to the bottom. Then it snapped easily into place. Also, I had to enlarge the hole in the sheet rock because the back of the coaxial wall plate won’t fit into a hole that was large enough for only a coaxial cable (see pics attached). After enlarging the sheet rock hole just a bit, everything fit. The rest of the install was simply screwing the coaxial plate into the wall and then screwing the copper plate onto the coaxial plate. I’m very happy with how it looks and it now blends nicely in our kitchen. I would happily recommend this product.

I love copper finishes. I even want my kitchen appliances and hardware to be in copper, so I really like this design and finish. But unfortunately, the included coax connector is a chore to connect. You will need a pair of needle nose pliers and patience to attach the poorly designed adapter to your coax rotating head using 1/4 turns until fully connected, if you can even get it threaded. I gave up and used a plain, white one-piece coax connector that I had on hand which was much easier. Apart from the coax connector, the metal and finish is good quality, so I would still recommend the cover without the coax.

...and the “nickel” finish is coming off turning to a chrome look. Not recommended.

We installed a pressed tin backsplash that we had applied a matte sealer finish on and wanted our outlet plates to blend in...this product is perfect! A little spendy, but the quality and look are well worth it.

These plate covers were perfect for our kitchen remodel. They match the other brushed nickel hardware nicely and the longer screws made it easier to mount on backsplash tiles.

Beautiful, classy finish to any room! The only reservation that I have is the wall plate could be another quarter of an inch wider, as a couple of my outlets/rocker switches were short of being completely covered by approximately 1/16" of an inch on each side of the outlet/switch.

This special delivery product was an exact match to the other switch plates from Home Depot. It covered the space in the drywall fully and was a quick install.
