The module was easy to install into my ceiling fans, partially due to the fact that I was replacing an existing module to allow for wink connectivity. Pairing with Wink was failry easy, though it did take a couple tries for it to be found.

No wall mount
This remote doesn't come with a wall mount. None exists. I find this absolutely unacceptable. How are you supposed to find it in the darkroom, since you can't turn lights on when entering?!

Thank you for your purchase. We understand the desire for a wall mount and will pass your comments along to our product development team. Some customers have used a small piece of Velcro to hold the controller on the wall when not in use.

    Excellent Fan Controller. Works well, relatively easy to install, and uses Zigbee, which means it's compatible with SmartThings, Hubitat, etc, not just Wink. Make sure you have a strong Zigbee mesh though, as the Zigbee radio on these isn't all that strong!

    My remote came with the ceiling fan that I purchased as a kit. The remote works well. When wiring the receiver to the ceiling fan it says to have the receiver outside of the fan for good connection. I did not do this and still the remote works well.

    Though the remote works, the buttons have to be pressed hard. The dimming feature is barely adequate at best, as the lights go about half way, then revert to full brightness. Any transition from bright to dim is murky jerky.

    Sorry to hear that you are having this issue with the remote. We would suggest changing the bulbs to a different brand dimmable LED bulb to see if that resolves the dimming issue. Different LED bulbs can operate in different ways. The bulbs may be the contributing factor to the dimming issue.     Great addition to my Hunter Ceiling fan, Using a custom device handler available frrely on the Internet I was able to sync this controller up with MyuSamsung Smartthings Hub which then allowed me to use Google Assistant to turn on and off my Fan including different speeds. Just Google Hampton Bay Zigbee Ceiling Fan/Light Controller. This controller is a Zigbee device as well as Wink.

Also, the maximum operating distance is 30 ft within a clear line of sight to the fan.
