Installing the blinds was a breeze. Shortening the blinds per instructions also was very easy . I measured the width & the girl at home depot who cut them was very good at her job & very patient with me on making sure they were cut to my exact measurements.

Generally speaking, it's a decent product. I've purchased about 15 of them for an Office installation. You have to open every box before you buy it and inspect for damage, because about 1 in 4 are dented, damaged, scratched, etc. Also, when they're cut to a custom length, it makes it harder to get the end caps on, because it slightly bends the ends. Overall though, economically priced, they look good, I'll buy a few more.

In the end, happy enough with the blind for the price, price being the key factor. Installing inside the window frame was a bit of a chore dealing with the brackets. As others have said, the head rail would not snap into place while trying to insert the blind into the brackets. There is not enough clearance with the top of the window frame. I took another reviewers advice and bent the front of the hinge down a bit and finally could get it snapped into place. Very frustrating part of the installation. I had to remove some bottom slats to get to the appropriate length. As others have pointed out about the buttons snapping off, the very first button I tried to remove snapped right off! So instead of messing with the other buttons, I just cut off the excess ladder pieces and it works fine, so no reason to remove the buttons at all as far as I'm concerned. It does go up and down pretty smoothly, but one other nuisance, but I can deal with is to get it sit flush with the bottom the window sill, I have to pull further down, hold one of the cords and then set up in place, otherwise the blind wants to go up further than I like. In defense of that, I could have used the little hooks that secure the blind down, but I went the exact size without trimming as I wanted full coverage of the inside of the window, so there is not enough space to install the hooks. I would recommend this product if you want a decent cordless blind without spending a fortune. I can only recommend on how it functions right now, will see how it holds up.

Easy to install, fast shipping, other places didn't have the exact size l needed, they were out of stock. Home Depot did and never disappoint!

The brackets were easy to install but once installed it was difficult to attach head to brackets. Once hung the blinds hang unlevel even though the head is level. Something amiss in the cords.

Easy to install and they look great!

Decent quality vinyl miniblinds. Good instructions, look nice. However two complaints. First, the mounting brackets come with double-stick tape already applied. It's for holding the bracket to the wall prior to installing the mounting screws. I didn't want to use the sticky tape. But the tape doesn't peel off cleanly. It leaves a sticky residue and I didn't have a solvent handy. Had to use friction-rub off as much as I could, but couldn't get it all off. Next time I will have Goof-Off or denatured alcohol handy. Second, in order to adjust the length of the blinds, you have to remove the "bottom rail buttons" -- little plastic plugs that hold the strings to the bottom rail. Then remove extra horizontal vinyl slats and trim excess cord. However, while using gentle pressure to remove these buttons, several of them just sheared off. I was using plastic auto trim clip removal tools and these buttons still broke off. The buttons are made from a cheap plastic. I ended up having to modify plastic wall anchors (for mounting screws to drywall) to replace the broken buttons. I called customer service for replacement buttons, they are sending via USPS but it'll take 5-7 business days to arrive.

Regardless of length/width, these cannot be truly 'inset-mounted'; without modifying the bracket, they must be mounted 'proud' of the casing. [Confirmed this with Customer Service] See the photo for a way of modifying the bracket to provide the extra 0.060" of clearance you'll need for truly inset mounting. Bend the nose of that channel down slowly and carefully. Note: the bracket design for other blinds, e.g. Home Decorators Collection Item #1001510845, aren't made this way; they're 'dog-legged' down.

We have purchased three of these blinds in order to cover the two windows on our french doors. The blinds are easy to install and cover well enough. Unfortunately, they break incredibly easily. So far, all 3 have broken. The first one was replaced. The remaining two are already broken. The problem with these blinds is that the plastic that makes the individual slats is extremely brittle. Rather than bending, it breaks. We have also seen it crack and chip. We not abusing the blinds, but they are on doors. They will be bumped and sometimes bent. These blinds cannot handle it. The price is right and they do the job, but they are incredibly fragile. Don't put them anywhere we they will regularly be brushed against or impacted.

I like the looks and operating feature without the cords hanging.

Within one month of opening and closing the blinds, the individual panes started breaking off. I'm very disappointed in the lack of structural integrity.

I love our new blinds. They fit my odd sized windows perfectly and they were easy to install.

Decent quality, easy to install, works and looks good. I have to replace the same one that only lasted 1 year. I love the cordless feature. I would like it to last longer and price at almost $20 is expensive too.

Had issues in beginning however went to homedepot on Tilly mill one of the associates assisted me and was great!! Went home and put up blinds. Truly an very satisfied with service

This an excellent product! I really like the elimination of the cord pulls. The easy of raising and lowering with out the entangling cords is a REAL PLUS!! The quality is very good and price easy on the pocket book. They do a good job of 'darkening' a room - not total darkness, but very good at eliminating direct sunlight or light form another source. Color is uniform between the header and slats. Great job or reducing UV heat transfer from a window. Easy to install and clean. I would recommend to anyone wanting to add blinds to their home.

Nice blind for the price. Very easy to install. If you shorten the blind to your window size, just take your time and try not to rush through it. Shortening these blinds can be a little frustrating.

The blinds were easy to install in existing brackets. It takes some time to get used to cordless blinds.

This product is exactly what I wanted. Very easy to install. Took about 5 minutes. The sizing is spot on. It fit my window perfectly. Very easy to use. Just grab it and pull down. Much better than the corded type. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

We got the room darkening blinds and they were perfect! They let in just enough light to lighten up the room, but not so much that it was blinding. Installing is awesome too because that brackets have double sided tape so you can stick them on the frame, mark the holes, and then remove them to drill it out. I've installed several cordless and corded blinds and these were by far the easiest. Tip: If you install the blinds inside of the frame, make sure that the brackets are far enough out so that the hook is beyond the window frame so that the blinds can hook onto that bracket, if the brackets don't have enough space to hook on, then you will have problems, but it is easily remedied because the brackets are adjusted without moving the screws!

they crack easily and they unravel. this after 3 1/2 months of use with no children no pets. seems like a good price especially for 72 inch cordless blind but shop around because you really do get what you pay for. returning this has been a huge pain. I supervise several group homes and we’re remodeling one and I really liked these when I got them. I was going to buy them for the group home

This blind was really to install and looks great. I love that it doesn't have cords. Nice blinds for a great price. I'd like to get some for my living room too.

I purchased this for my kitchen and am very pleased with it. It is cordless so no more fussing wirh the cords to straighten the blind. Installation was easy. Looks great. Price was reasonable. I highly recommend.
