Everything was in good shape outside of maybe one 2x4. 4 stars instead of 5 because the primed outer walls could be thicker/sturdier but the final product is very nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I'm happy with this shed kit. I believe it will hold up well in my yard even exposed to frequent heavy rain and critters. I expected a lot of the wood to be warped or even unusable based on other reviews, but I was able to use everything in the kit. Some pre-cut angles were badly off and I did end up doing extra corrective work like cutting new pieces or needing shims or patches. The instructions were generally good, although sometimes they set you up for swinging a hammer in impossibly small spaces and such. I realized early on I needed to think a few steps ahead of the instructions, which helped me adapt and use my judgement to make the build smoother. Most angles ended up tight and flush (although seams between siding are not, so the caulking step is highly necessary) and the doors and windows all fit great. I added an extra strip of trim horizontally on the gable walls at the top of the wall section, since the overhanging siding as instructed looked bad to my eye. I also cut and reconfigured the trim on the dormer walls to better cover the flashing for water tightness and to look less unbalanced. It took me much longer to construct than the instructions suggest, but that's because it was mostly a one-woman show. I'm small (5'6" 120lb) and I did 90% of it by myself. Two people helped with standing up the walls and securing them. One person helped with putting up gables, roof OSB, soffits, and eaves. None of those would have been possible solo. Just about everything else can be done by one person. But again, it takes a lot longer that way. So for anyone trying to figure out what you can do yourself and how much help to arrange: I needed 1/2 a day with a team of 3-4 to stand and secure walls, 1 day with team of 2 for roof framing, and about 5 long days of my own time. If you do the (optional) drip edge on the roof, you'll need about 160" more than the instructions say. Painting will definitely need two coats.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in the fall and built with the help of a friend. Fantastic instructions provided a perfect build and this shed looks great on our property. Lots of space for storage and room for a workbench. Very happy with this purchase.

Starting with unmarked pieces of wood for assembly to pieces of wood that were too warped to use then to pieces of wood that were miss measured (too short for areas intended). While this was not a weekend project, took me a week, it would have been acceptable if not for the inferior building material supplied. I am waiting to hear back from customer service so I can finish the shed (90% complete). How will they rectify these issues?

The experience started out good but then degraded. Delivery was smooth and set in my carport. I was able to get instructions early and review. Upon breaking out the pieces I found boards that were too twisted for use and a missing hardware bag. This added significant cost and time to the project. Upon reading the instructions, I discovered confusing steps and questionable elements. There was no saving time with the precuts. I would avoid a kit and do it myself if I had to do it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the overall design and aesthetics of the shed. It has functional shelving on the inside as well. My only complaint about the product is that I wish the trim would have come in a PVC board instead of the less than 1/2" plywood trim. The PVC would extend the life of the trim exponentially. Unfortunately because the trim board itself is so thin, you can't even wrap it in metal to extend the longevity of the product. Paint will only hold up but so long without having to repaint again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this shed looks great and is straightforward to assemble provided you study the instructions and follow them. I only caught one error (sequence of installing drip edge before trim) and the dormer roof/soffits were a little tricky to understand. It took four of us 2.5 short November days to assemble. I’d be leery of doing this with just two people, the assembled walls are pretty heavy and unwieldy. Lumber was good quality. Fasteners provided, but then you have a tough call because if you want to borrow/rent framing and finish nailers you’ll re-purchase a non-trivial amount of nails. Overall, very happy. It’s a well thought out kit, and designing and sawing my own would have taken forever, cost more, and made a worse shed.

A friend bought this and hired me to install, I have construction experience. Right from the start, the floor was not all there.... Another trip to H.D.... Windows are just glass, not actual windows. All parts are cut to size with very little instructions included. No you tube video available either. A thousand little pieces like a jig saw puzzle. A nightmare to try to put together, and I don't think it was all there. All pieces are under 8 foot so they can fit in the pallet. So the 12 foot x 10 foot size is a mixture of 8 foot and 4 foot and 2 foot parts that you have to piece together. And its like a puzzle, not good quality in my opinion. You are better off buying the lumber by yourself, it will be better quality and stronger and easier to assemble. This is far from a weekend project and a nightmare to figure out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my Windermere last week and have been sorting through it since. The product is good quality and construction will be relatively easy. My only complaint is that many of the pieces were not marked or marked incorrectly which has delayed beginning the build.

The kit took longer to build than I thought but the finished product turned out really nice. The instructions were easy to follow however,I did feel the need to add lumber to better support the sheet roofing material.

Before you even consider buying this ask a person you trust or professional, how much they charge to build. Was delivered by truck. 2 packages stocked one on another. Wider than a SUV and the length of a SUV. Other customer reviews make it sound easy. Quote "weekend project". I tried. Way to difficult. Contracted two men. 3k. 3 other quotes. 1 a little less 1a lot more. Not a easy project. Took half day to unpack and organize. Day 3 only half done. Company misleads will report to BBB.

Building my first shed. Although I'm very handy, I found it quite easy. Just like building a model. Definitely a two person project.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shed arrived in 2 well protected crates. I was pleasantly surprised to see how well the shed parts were organized in the crates. My suggestion is to follow their advice and inventory the parts by shed section. It'll save you a bunch of time. Basically took us a weekend and a half to build from start to finish. One of the advantages of building piece by piece was painting all of the outside pieces prior building the shed. Overall we were very happy with the entire experience. Great product with very thorough instructions. Saved thousands building it ourselves. Highly recommended!

Im surprised they included the windows at this point - but you really need to read the description. This does not come qith the roof or flooring unless you have that added on. I am a general contractor and it is taking longer and more money to build then if i were to just go to home depot and do it myself. Looks pretty in the picture but crappy and incomplete in real life
