[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was originally going to buy an 8x12’ shed, but found this 10x12’ shed for just a little more money. I’m very pleased with the value! Having built a smaller shed from Handy Home previously, I had an idea of what to expect. I did replace a few 8’ boards with 10’ boards to add in some rigidity. I was able to build the shed in a weekend, but it took 3 weekends to totally finish painting and getting shingles on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son and I assembled this kit and then had a roofing company come match my new roof. it all turned out even better than expected and just started really finishing off the inside to make the most of the space. We also added a solar light which is fantastic for this application. Highly recommend the kit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this shed because it uses standard building methods and materials, which made it very easy to modify. I stiffened up the supplied flooring structures and walls, which allowed me to easily add a second story. I did this to maximize the size of shed that I could build in my city without requiring a building permit. I actually built this single-handedly, although I would not recommend doing this unless you are truly a masochist. LOL!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this 8x12 shed to put in our backyard. The lumber is of good quality and the instructions are very simple, not to mention correct. A few years back, we purchased a similar shed from a different retailer. In comparing the two sheds, this one is much better!! Our neighbors said how nice it looked and saw how easy it was to put together and asked us where we bought it from.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The kit was pretty straight forward. Some instructions were slightly vague, but pretty good overall. There were a couple of places where it didn't seem like it went together just as perfect and straight as I thought it should being a shop cut kit. Perhaps it was my carpentry skills, but I think the pieces weren't just perfect - pretty good, but not perfect. Overall I was very pleased with the kit. It went together well and I feel that it is pretty solid. I like the 2x4 construction rather than the smaller lumber that some are made of. The bottom line is that I wouldn't hesitate to buy another kit if I needed another shed. Good quality product.

It is a little quirky dealing with shorter 2x4s for the wall top and bottom plates and floor joists, but in the end it all feela aolid. It would be a good idea to have an extra 2x4 on hand in case one is overly warped. Overall very happy with the purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the installer put multiple holes in the roof, right through the shingles (which were the wrong color), put holes in the window flashing- completely installing multiple things incorrectly. never caulked anything. one side is completely messed up. The company needs better installers and then this would be a good product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this shed was a great purchase. It was fairly easy to assemble and the finished product looks great. I struggled some with the wall assembly as things didn’t line up properly when following the written instructions, so ended up building a panel at a time. My only complaint is that I spent a lot extra to finish it. The footprint boards are not pressure treated so not actually suitable for ground contact. I added metal plates to hold the floor pieces together. Then factoring in roofing and painting, all told it was another $800 onto the cost. Still pleased with it but might have bought something more inclusive of the materials at a higher price point had I done the calculations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this shed because it was one of few shed kits available that use 2x4’s for the framing. It’s a great sturdy shed. The instructions were excellent and easy to follow along. The only point I would take away from this kit is most of the 2x4’s were twisted and had to be pulled into place when nailing which made the assembly a challenge at times. Five of them were so severely bowed and twisted I had to purchase replacements as they were unusable. Also one rafter was cut an inch and a half short and I had to make a new one.

The instructions were pretty straight forward and easy to follow. We got the 10 x 12 originally intended for storage. But now are in the process of framing in shed windows to make it more like an outdoor room because of the ceiling height. We had to shore up the inside with extra 2 x 4's to support the weight of the roof we chose. Would definitely recommend this shed and would buy it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shed looks good and was fairly easy to install, however (and I know it’s hard to find perfect wood), but there were quite a few 2x4s etc that were so warped it was quite a chore to get things squared up and together appropriately. Especially on the rafters. It made for small little issues down the line but in the end it’s together and it should hold well. Just don’t get too close lol.

No studs in the rear wall. No floor plate in the rear wall. Floor joists spacing is too far apart. If I were not familiar with home construction it would have been very difficult to build a sturdy building. As it was I added much more bracing. I would have been able to have a better finished product if I had bought the materials myself and built from scratch.
