Does not work
Bought this tool to help hang pictures. It will make marks all over the walls but the level is so hysterically off it's a total waste of money. We got closer to level just eyeballing where nails should go.

A friend just moved and as I was buying anchors...
A friend just moved and as I was buying anchors to hang pictures and shelves for her I seen this and thought wow that's awesome.It was pretty awesone... handy but, It would not reel back in at all after first use so after the first night it became useless. 15 bucks is a tad high for a disposable tool.

Works very well. My only complaint is that the metal pieces that poke holes in the dry wall slide very easily so you have to be careful not to move them once you measure out your piece. Otherwise, very helpful tool!!

Very flimsy tape measure. You have to press super hard...
Very flimsy tape measure. You have to press super hard to have the spikes make an indent in your walls (even drywall) and you can't move the first set of spikes so you always have to measure on the Wall first how far you need to go over for the first hole set. Haven't done a single (middle) hanging project yet.

Broke after 1st use
The tape measure was pulled out to 20 inches - NOT ROUGHLY - and will not retract!!!!! We have tries everything possible to get the tape measure to retract back into the holder. Entire product cheap and flimsy. Total WASTE OF $$

Does the job pretty well. it struggles a little bit if thick branches come it’s way while trimming. but as per capacity it does work well and get’s the cutting trimming job done in no time. Not too heavy, hence easy to handle also.

It is a clever concept. It’s sometimes a two person task as the distance elongates. The short ones work perfectly. Otherwise, it’s hard to keep it flat and read the level. I’d recommend it for unhandy people like myself but with the caveat I’ve mentioned.
Also, pricey for the task frequency.
