The star light bulbs are yellow in color, so it reminds me of the lights on our Christmas tree growing up. I purchased LED string lights which are whiter than the star's light bulbs. I didn't like that the lights didn't match. I returned the string lights for a more traditional look. In all, I like how the tree looks with the star.
