Flattened tip at the very end of the hook--very helpful!!

The wand tip (hook portion) is slightly flattened at the very tip which made it much easier for me to replace the old wand whose tip was not at all flat. The old wand tip was fatter and was difficult to remove. But once I was able to remove the old tip the new replacement wand fit perfectly because of its flattened tip.

Just what I needed to be able to adjust my new blinds that came with a much shorter wand. The hook on the new wand was to small to attach to the blinds properly but I just use a heavy duty paper clip as a coupler and it works well enough for my application in the garage. I have read others use a key ring instead of the paper clip.
