I added this to my Den and am so happy with the appearance. The colors and patterns are superb. I love that a few of these have what looks like saw marks, like it came right out of the mill. There are at least 6 patters isaw. The installation was easier than some others I've worked with. The thickness was another item I lied too. The width and length were well thought out and I am glad I chose this.

Overall, the flooring looks nice once laid down, but let's be clear. There's a reason that it's cheap. It's not the worst, but at least 2 pieces in every box were slightly warped (just left a seam on one end or in the middle) or the ends weren't cut correct and could not lock with other pieces. I am a little picky about things being perfect so keep that in mind, but compared to other laminate it was a little more difficult to deal with. It's only been installed for 6 weeks so I can't comment on long term durability, but so far it's holding up to 3 kids!

Heavy flooring with weathered gray finish - this is the third floor I have installed, so I wouldn't say I'm a novice or an expert. The snap together flooring takes a little practice to get the hang of neatly lining up the edges so they fit in the grooves. I found that using a 2 x 4 piece instead of a mallet worked better for popping the tongue in without making the whole section go out of alignment. I used 6 cases to floor a 10 x 12 shed, with only a tiny bit of wastage. This should be strong enough to withstand years of traffic and the weathered appearance should work well in my shed, which is going to be my workspace for DIY projects.

    Poor Quality
I recently purchased 90 boxes to do my entire home. Once we started on the first room, we quickly realized that the quality was absolutely terrible. The joints are supposed to “lock in” and they splinter as soon as you start to slide them together. We finished the room because we couldnt return open boxes. But returned the rest. The flooring is beautiful on the top. But I predict within the next year it will start to buckle

DON'T DO IT. Do not get this flooring. I loved the look of it, and was excited that the flooring I liked the look of best was such a great price. Well, this is definitely an instance of you get what you pay for. But given the square footage I was covering, I still spent thousands of dollars on this. Here we are 3 years later, and boards are heaving, finish is chipping off them, huge gaps are opening up between boards, and it is the nosiest floor I've ever heard. Absolutely terrible, waste of every single dollar and ever hour of labor spent. Now to only be forced to make the decision of living with this terrible floor or to spend thousands more to replace it AGAIN. Worst of all, the manufacturer will do nothing to help or remedy the numerous problems.

After weeks of searching and reading reviews, we settled for Distressed Brown Hickory 12 mm from HD. I really didn't know what to expect after reading mixed reviews. So, I took a chance considering it is a 12MM, it is used to cover a 300SF loft (not necessarily a high traffic area), it has that rustic but elegant distressed finish and it was professional done. As you can see from the pictures, the floor came out exceptional, not only meeting but exceeding my expectations.

          Edges break and floorboards lift
Buy something else, especially if your floor is concrete. Most floors are not perfectly flat and this stuff has zero tolerance for anything but a perfectly flat floor. I would even hesitate to use it on a plywood sub-floor above grade. The edges and interlocking start crumbling and floorboards lift and twist as the floor gets used. Luckily I only covered about 500 feet or I would have wasted more than the $1,400 I spent. Buy a more expensive product on sale at a flooring warehouse and you'll spend half what I had to spend to do the floor twice.

Very difficult to snap together. Falls apart on the edge as you work on it. It is only partly done because I work on it after I get off work. I will say that it is going to be beautiful when I am done with it.

We absolutely love this laminate and the installers that did it as well, I would 100% use them again if we decide to carry this through the whole house. The floor was installed super quick and it looks flawless. So far no loud noise can be heard that seems to have bothered some other purchasers. Sounds like normal laminate noise to me. We've had it about 2 weeks now and finally started putting furniture back in and it doesn't seem to scratch or have any damage from moving couches etc. We were attempting to match the color to an orange/peach colored tile that was already in the rest of the house and this is perfect. It flows nicely and has just enough rich brown with a hint of orange coloring to match wonderfully. Would definitely recommend.

Installed 400sq feet about 6 weeks ago in Minnesota on new subfloor with the noise dampening / waterproof mat underneath, and brought the flooring inside to acclimate for 7 days prior to installing. installation was very simple, had everything perfectly fit together and didn't make any noise, I was extremely happy for the first 2 weeks. going into the 3rd week, corners started popping up, the gaps in the board started to vary and they started to produce this crunching noise. Very dissapointed.

I'm writing this review 3 years after purchase. This flooring is beautiful and durable. It goes with all decor and has held up very well over the last 3 years. We have this flooring in our entire house (with the exception of the bathroom). We have moved furniture countless times, done home renovations, my husband is a musician so he is constantly wheeling gear in and out of the house. We also have kids and a dog that are not the most gentle on the floor, we've spilled, scraped, dropped heavy things etc. The only con is that there are definitely scratches in some places, but these are scratches from heavy duty things (like the dryer) not being carefully moved but unless you are on your hands and knees looking you can't find the scratches. I should also add that against Home Depots suggestion we chose not to have them level our concrete sub floor so there are places in the flooring that are squeaky and there feels like there is a little more give but we chose not to have it done and thus knowingly voided the warranty. Even so they have held up great! I'd chose these floors again in a heart beat!

I am really glad that I did not listen to the negative reviews on this product. My husband and I bought this flooring before even reading the reviews and when I got home I was so upset and nervous. My husband is not a contractor but has had a lot of experience with laying laminate flooring. This flooring went down perfectly fine, was easy to install, easy to put together, and looks absolutely beautiful! We are SO happy with this product. My husband was also able to install the flooring relatively quickly. I would disagree with the other comments that this flooring is loud. There are a few spots on our floor where the subflooring is loud and makes some noise (I know this because it made the same noise with the old flooring), but I actually think this laminate flooring is way quieter than any other flooring we have ever had in the house. I do not notice any crackling or popping anywhere except in that one location where we had issues with subflooring. We did lay some padding underneath which helped. I compared this laminate to some other laminate we have used in our apartment and have found that this laminate is substantially thicker than others available. I have attached some photos to this review - please note, some of the pictures are without the molding in place so might look unfinished. However, this flooring is everything we could have wanted. Matches all different colors of wood and changes color in different lighting. An absolutely perfect pick if you are looking for something rustic and realistic. Don't let the negative reviews turn you away! We are so happy!

This is the first time my husband and I have ever installed laminate click flooring. Definitely took a little bit to get the hang of things but once we did it was smooth sailing! This material is very thick and durable. We have two labs and have had no issues thus far. It took us two weekends to finish this project but it was well worth it! We chose this laminate because we have dark cabinets in our kitchen but all the finishes in our house are light, this matches both of them very nicely!

                      So Far So Good
I loved the way this looked in the store but honestly the reviews people put out scared me a little bit. However I installed it over a thicker underlayment (1/8) inch, and I have zero issues with noise or quality. It's too soon to recommend it to anyone else, but early returns look good.

This flooring is beautiful. Looks more like solid wood than a lot of the actual solid wood flooring that we looked at. We love the slight distressed look and it makes all of our rooms look so beautiful. It really gives a "clean" look to our house. No problems with squeaking. We love it.

After have a thin high gloss laminate, this flooring was the answer. Can't comment on the install since I hired a local installer. Hides pet traffic and looks great after only two thirds installed.

We put this flooring throughout our whole main living space (as you can see below in the pictures) and we're really happy with how it came out. Great product that really does look (and somewhat feels) like hardwood! Lots of different designs so that the pattern doesn't repeat itself often. The color was exactly what we're looking for, and you can't beat the price. One of the thickest products (other than hardwoods) that we've found!

The Distressed Brown Hickory is just beautiful. I love it and have had so many compliments on the floor from everyone who has seen it. Many think it is real wood and not a laminate. My wife and I really love it. The installation was not as smooth. Our installer was knowledgeable about installing flooring with 20+ years experience, however he had one man quit and another one was sick. Our 2 day project turned into a full week. And now there is one small area that needs attention and I have called twice to get someone to come out and fix it. I will update this when they arrive. Overall we are very happy with the floor now that it has been installed for a while. Yes we would do it all over again.
