Easy to install but suggest having a helping hand to hold fixture when making wire connections. Looks nice and works well with dimmer switch.

This is the second light fixture I've gotten from the Home Decorators collection, and boy, am I becoming a fan of this line. The rubbed-oil bronze gives you a quality look with the durability of metal without having that shiny, overdone look that comes with silver or gold or even brass. Low-key light fixtures that have a little personality are hard to come by, especially when you're installing something that needs to mix with any new interior decorating you might do over time. This particular overhead light is a great option with a classic touch. I rated the ease of installation at 5. I will say that one way to make installing nearly any light fixture easier is to pop a hook of some type over the ceiling bracket and hang the light from it temporarily. Then you can fiddle with the wires and, right before stuffing everything in, remove the hook. It saves your arms a lot of work, and it leaves both hands free for wire work. We used this light to replace a truly monstrous ceiling fan in a bedroom. The room is big and the fan was flush mounted, but it still dominated the room. The Home Decorators light is just the right size, and offers a design that can match nearly every decor. We popped in two 60-watt LED equivalents for this one to keep the bedroom lighting soft. The globe is glass, and sturdy enough for this use. It can't be too heavy, but it's also not so thin that it might break during installation. Really quite happy with this choice.

Nice looking close to ceiling light fixture that has 2 lights in an oil rubbed bronze finish by Home Decorators. It was relatively easy to install as long as you have standard light housings and took @45mins from start to finish. It houses 2 bulbs so if you need more light just find 75-100 LED bulbs like I did since I am using this in a clothes closet. It’s an attractive looking fixture with bronze metal forming ‘x’ patterns and has an opaque white glass shade that illuminates the space nicely. The install was fairly straightforward- And I only ran into an issue when holding the unit and attaching the power leads to the house wiring but after that it was simple and easy-ground to ground/ground screw-black wire to black-white wire to white and screw remaining pieces to unit. The glass shade is open on the top so dust or dead bugs may settle but it will be easy to clean w/a vacuum attachment or dusting brush. Overall it is a simple but elegant light fixture that is timeless in its style and will work with almost any decor style.

We bought this to replace a ceiling fixture in our kitchen. Our kitchen is dark so we put LED bulbs in it and it really brightens things up. It was very easy to install and took my husband maybe 20 minutes including taking the old light down. I only wish they made matching pendant lights for over my peninsula area.

We bought this to replace our chandelier over our kitchen table. It looks really nice and is fresh alternative to the age old chandelier. I like soft white light so we had to bump it up to 75 watts in an LED bulb to get the right brightness but we are very happy with this fixture.

This is a great looking light fixture and appears to be great quality. The light quality is also good. It is a heavy fixture weighing in at ten pounds. Make sure your junction box is up for the task. Installation leaves a lot to be desired, especially if you are by yourself. Screws need to be installed on the back of the installation bracket and have to be the exact right length and that is not all the way screwed in. I found out the hard way. I fought trying to hold the light fixture up while making the wire connections, routing the wires in the junction box, and trying to line everything up wall at the same time. After awhile, this 10 pound fixture feels like it weighs fifty pounds. Anyway, I am happy with the end product.

We bought this light to replace our extremely dated 70 year old entry light. We like the color and look of it. The frosted dome is very nice, but the surround is what sold my wife on it. Its not very heavy, but due to the size and assembly, I highly recommend having someone else around to hold it while you wire it up before mounting to the light box. Even with zero light wiring experience, the instructions made installing this light very easy. In all, only took about 30 minutes, and well worth it in our opinion.

Had to return item as the glass bowl was broken. We were able to exchange fixture and are satisfied with final installation.

Will look nice in my master bedroom!

I have had this light in my kitchen for a few years now. I recently cracked the globe (badly - my bad!) and was able to easily get a replacement globe for it. I can now enjoy many more years with this beautiful light! I use bright white LED bulbs and it lights up my kitchen perfectly.

This was a great ceiling fixture for my wife's office. It was a little hard to put together, but I got on my second try. We liked that it had 2 lights with it. Each light had a 60 watt bulb capacity.

Beautiful light. Just what I expected

This a very attractive light. Even with two bulbs, it's not terribly bright but we put it in our master bedroom where we didn't need a crazy bright light.

Solid quality and reltiely easy to install. Make sure to dry fit the unit and confirm length of the mounting screws before wiring and installing completely some surfaces required screws to be rolled back and others fully extended. Provides great ilumination and a nice finished modern look.
