easy to install and a great look. we added the wine racks on the bottoms.

I love these as they are a smaller height than shelves I purchased for another home. Gives us the display space without taking up room. I stacked them two high with a picture in the middle. Looks better than what I imaged.

I’m not very handy but I found these instructions confusing. It said studfinder optional but you really did need it to determine how to screw these into the wall. If you don’t have studs you need to use the drywall anchor but only 4 of 7 are provided. After properly screwing the backplate to the wall, the shelf is wobbly. I think the holes under the bracket tubing are not exactly precise and that’s why it’s wobbly. In the end it works but I wouldn’t put anything valuable on there.

I bought two of these. One had a different bracket that wasn’t very sturdy. I needed to place a brace under the larger one because they are not made to hold anything heavy. Cute, for the price.

Very attractive and nice for display, but I wouldn't used it for things I'd be taking on and off the shelf. Even we'll anchored to the wall, it is wobbly (but secure...won't fall off). I bought this to display a teapot on a painted wood panel wall. I screwed the center of bracket into a stud but could use the anchors provided with the shelf for drywall. I went back to Home Depot and an associate in the hardware section showed me anchors that would work and told me what to do. End result looks very nice, but, as previously noted, is a bit wobbly if touched. I adhered the bottom of the teapot to the shelf in case there is some unexpected rumbling from a minor earthquake or a child running into the wall.

The shelf looks nice, but found the following issues: The included drywall mounting hardware is practically unusable. Anchors terribly designed. The shelf is not static once mounted. This is due to horrible tolerances in the shelf and on the bracket.

We bought these shelves in three different sizes and this size is a different shade than the others. All of the twenty four inch shelves at the store are more of an ivory color than white. Beyond frustrating

The metal part is not strong enough within time it will tilt towards front. so far it looks good but I am sure within few years, it will be time to change this thing.

I just purchased two of these floating shelves to display light-weight memorabilia in my office. Upon opening the first package, I noticed that the metal bracket was slightly bent (see photo), but I figured it would straighten out once it was attached to the wall. I was able to get one mounting screw into a stud (which would obviously be more solid) but none of the other holes in the mounting bracket lined up with studs, so I had to use drywall anchors. Attaching the bracket to the wall DID flatten it out. But now the posts no longer aligned perfectly with the holes. I had to push on one of the posts just a bit in order to slide the shelf onto the bracket. Still, the shelf was up. But once mounted, the shelf drooped back-to-front (see photo with bubble level). The wall itself is perfectly plumb. I suspect the the flexibility of the metal bracket and the fact that the metal posts do not fit firmly into the holes in the back of the shelf. There's nearly 1/8-inch of play. Both shelves are going back to Home Depot. And now I have to patch the holes in my wall and do some touch-up painting. The price may be attractive, but these are very poor quality.

Installed the 24 and 18 inch ones above toilet. On drywall with provided anchors. Shelves are secure, but boy do they jiggle with any touch.

The shelf was very easy to install and we are by no means talented in the DIY department. It's a great small sized shelf. It is not a "floating" wall shelf but has 2 brackets and it is referred to as decorative shelf. It's fairly narrow and that is what we were looking for (5" deep). We were lucky to be able to install one side into a wall stud and for the other we used the drywall anchor method to mount directly into the wall. For our purposes, a regular rectangular shaped wall shelf without the brackets would have been fine but for the exact size and cost of this shelf we couldn't go wrong with this model. Looks great!

Only drawback is the black retaining screw under the shelf. It is visible from beneath for high shelf placement. A plastic cover over the screw would have been nice. Otherwise, it is a great decorator shelf.

Not a terrible product but a few notes: 1) The instructions tell you to use a 5/16 drill bit if installing into studs. One look at the supplied hardware and you know thats incorrect, glad I noticed before drilling way too big of a hole. 2) The black screws used to secure the shelf to the bracket do not sit flush, making the supplied white stickers visually useless. 3) Those flaws aside it is a very easy and straight forward install. Would probably buy again but make modifications to hide the screws better

Great for the price. Installation was straightforward. Arrived with all the parts and instructions. I like the clean look of the floating shelves. I ordered 5 shelves to display teacups in a contemporary way and make them more accessible. They've been up for 3 weeks and they are holding up great.

The shelves are so easy to put up I have put him up all over my house with no problem the only thing I would suggest is buying better through the wall sheetrock screws other than that perfect every time thank you home depot for offering these for sale

They are not solid wood but they are really sturdy and for the price,they are a really good deal. I'm using them to hold my dome lamps for my indoor garden setting.

I purchased 3 of these shelves for my daughter to display her Kpop memorabilia collection. The quality is about what I expected for the low price. A similar product is available at Ikea for less money, but does not include hardware for installation, so I think this product is a better value. Instructions were easy to understand. Of the 3 shelves only, one had the underside pilot holes countersunk to allow for the screw to be inserted enough for the sticker to cover the hole. Of the 3 shelves, 2 had silver colored screws and 1 had black screws. 1 of the shelves was damaged on the underside. I opted not to return as my daughter didn't care and it was not that noticeable. The shelves should work fine, as long as not too much weight is put on them. I did run into a problem purchasing these. I ordered online to be picked up in store. I did not notice when I picked them up that 2 of them were the wrong shelf, and 1 was the right shelf but wrong color. I returned them and picked up the correct ones myself. The way they are shelved, I could see how it would be very easy to pick the wrong style. Pay attention to the product # and description when selecting. Immediately after installing these, I started this reveiw. Before I could finish, I heard something fall in my daughter's room. 2 of the shelves had already started tilting downward causing the items on them to fall off. If you are sure that you can install these into a stud, they should work fine. That was not the case in my situation.

These shelves are exactly it!! I read the reviews and was concerned about the leaning and install stories. I didnt use the screws it came with I ended investing an extra $7 and bought self drilling drywall anchors. Install was quick! No leaning because of the anchors.

Very easy to install and stable

Really nice little shelves! I had never hung floating shelves or used a drill before hanging these but found the instructions clear (would recommend using a level just to make sure). I can't speak to how the shelves do holding heavier items as we hung ours to show off travel trinkets / framed photos, but we've had the 2 we bought up for a few months and haven't noticed any sagging / movement. Overall really like these shelves - they look very modern and make our apartment look a little more customized / homey.

This has to be one of the worst products, in general, that I've ever purchased. For $20 I'm not expecting real wood, but the particle board used is so thin and weak, the shelf is also hollow and you can hear the echo if you knock on it. the white veneer is so thin and of such poor quality you can almost see through it at certain angles. The color is not uniform. The metal pegs you have to screw to the wall are a very very thin hollow metal that bend at the slightest of touch. I have three small plants on my shelf, which is directly under a window, and it sags pretty badly, and any slightest of touch makes the shelf creek and jiggle to the point it seems like it will fall out. The pots in total are 11 pounds. so if you want to put anything of this weight on it or more, look for another shelf. I'm worried if it gets wet in the slightest it will puff up. Honestly this shelf is probably worth $5.99 not $20. You can buy a real wood shelf the same size for $40, if I could do it over again I would.

Easy to put up and pretty sturdy

The shelves look great and were very easy to install. Plan to buy a few more and use them in my bedroom.
