Nice looking fan, easy install. Wish it moved a little more air, but it is a small fan in a small porch area. All and all pretty nice.

Not too heavy and very easy to install. I installed it by myself. The ceiling mount has a metal hook that holds the motor housing while the wires are being connected. It looks and works great on my back porch.

We love the look of this ceiling fan but..... The LED stop working 3 months into owning it and we have searched the internet high and low and can NOT find a replacement LED light fo it ! Tried sending a email to Home Depot but could NOT find a email address ! Tried calling but they are NOT open on Sunday ! Will try going to the store to get a replacement but so far nothing but aggravating !!!!!

I bought three fans for my screened porch, as they were wet rated. Very easy installation and extremely quiet. They are nice fans at a great price.

One of the best! This Home Decorators Collection Arleigh 44 in. LED Outdoor White Ceiling Fan with Light is one of the best designed lights I have ever installed. They paid attention to every detail of what has to be done to install a ceiling fan. I have installed over a dozen ceiling fans of all different sizes and different brands. This was the fastest and easiest ever! The large mounting plate has a built in hook to hold the motor assembly while connecting wires. The motor assembly then goes on two holding screws while you install two others. The holes lined up exactly and were not so close to the ceiling or housing that you easily got a full screw driver on them. Attaching the blades were a dream come true. Every single screw hole lined right up and all 15 screws were done in under 5 minutes for five blades. The design went through the rest with every screw lining up perfectly. I am so happy with the install. OK, so the packaging was incredible, as it was as well designed as the fan itself. The instructions were perfect, step by step. The fan materials are not cheap wood, spray painted for appearance. They are a polished plastic that looks great and will hold up outside as well as inside without warping in the humidity. The LED light gives off plenty of light and the three speed fan moves air very well for such a small fan. I am very happy with this fan that I installed over a work bench in my garage. That is why the small size was perfect. I am so happy with it I will look for a larger size when replacing on my outdoor patio as well. Box says the motor and LED light will cost only $9.00 to run per year!

I think I am going to really like this small fan. It will not fit where I originally intended to hang it due to the unique mounting system that is used. I will mount it on another porch that I am now refurbishing. The fan mounts using a 10" wide heavy steel plate fastened to your electrical box. The motor housing bolts directly to this heavy plate, instead of using the hanger ball and mount typically used. I magnet tested all the exposed hardware and it is all non magnetic so there should be no problem with rust. The blades slide through slots in the housing and are attached internally with screws. This fan should eliminate the red wasp problem in my current fan. Each year they build nests in the area between the shroud and the motor. This fan is designed so it provides no access to them.

One of the easiest fans to install and close enough to the ceiling for most rooms, such as a bedroom, utility room and pretty much any outdoor space with a normal ceiling height (e.g. 8 feet). The instructions were well written and easy to follow. For one person I'd estimate about an hour start to finish. Overall, the quality is excellent, it has three speeds (hi, med, low) and is reversible. I replaced a standard contractor light. The outlet had two wired switches, one for the light and one for the fan. It was easy to wire this fan to separate the functionality. In addition there are the standard pull chains on the fan itself to control the light and fan separately. The fan is very quiet and certainly moves enough air for a medium sized room. I would definitely install again.

i just had a patio converted into a Lanai (for non Floridians some kind of four seasons porch), because we do our outside living in the winter, but need screen against all the critters. I was looking for a nice with it looking ceiling fan for this setup, and it needs to be an outside fan because of our high humidity during most of the year. I came across this fan and i look it modern styling.It comes with a light as a bonus, and it has the typical pull cords for selecting the fan speeds and turning the light on. I had a professional electrician install it, and I think it must have been easy to do so, because the electrician was not complaining! I like the fan a lot and can only recommend it!

I got this fan to replace one in our back screened in porch. The present one, even though was "supposed" to be rated for indoor / outdoor was not...As a result, it started to rust, and has gotten louder when running. Looking over this fan, it's plainly visible that this is strictly rated as Outdoor. The directional switch is housed within a membrane sleeve. The LED light assembly is housed within a thick, plastic enclosure. The fan blades are weather-resistant quality PVC. The light globe attaches by simply doing a half turn. The light glove is made of thick, white glass!...NOT plastic! The motor has a Lifetime Warranty. The LED lifespan is 50,000 hours and rated for 20-watts. Seeing as how this fan was replacing one already installed, the installation was that much easier however, I particularly liked how absolutely simple it was making the electrical connections...Three wires, and one multi-wire plug...That's it. The included instructions are extremely well laid out, and absolutely easy to follow installing your fan. Overall, I am very happy with the quality of this fan, and Highly Recommend it.

This fan is a great addition to covered porches and screen rooms. We like to have company over to play cards. It is nice to sit outside with the air being stirred and have enough light to see the cards! It is very easy to install this fan. I put the fan together in about 30 minutes. I measured the porch for the center and hung the base plate, and wired the unit while the fan hung on the hook built into the base. You can leave 2 of the 4 mounting screws on the fan since the base has quick notches that allow it to hang in place while you get the other 2 screws in place. All totaled it took less than an hour to put together and install.

I love shabby chic and having this on a porch is perfect. Of course it would be great in a bedroom or inside porch but I got this to use outside. Also it is low profile meaning grat for a low ceiling . It is only 12 in hes in height. Usesx1x20 watt led light. This is dimmable too. So overall perfect in a 10 by 10 bedroom on a porch or getting multiples outside. I love the frosted glass shade. The blades are 20 inches long and 6.3 inches wide. To me this fan is just about perfect I all it's features.

Hey all! If you have an existing ceiling fan, changing it out with this new one is not any more difficult than changing a light bulb. If you don’t have the electric lines in place, please consult a certified electrician. In my pic is the pieces you get. The instructions are easy to follow (no fancy technical jargon) and are done in logical steps. My skill level is 'novice', but I had no difficulty installing this appliance. I really like the LED light as that ends the need for replacement light bulbs. The unit is relatively quiet and circulates the air quite well. The neutral white adapts to existing décor, especially in the kitchen. Remember, ceiling fans are also effective in the winter months as they distribute heat to keep the entire room comfortable. Great product!

Exactly as advertised. Easy to insrall, well packaged, quick shipment. Runs smoothly and quietly. The extremely slick blades will be easy to keep clean, since I installed in 8-0 outdoor pxcreened porch ceiling. Well pleased with LED light.

I absolutely love this fan! We put two of them on an enclosed porch. They are quiet and the light is bright enough to read by! Great price as well!

I bought two of these smaller (42 inch) fans fans for my patio. They work OK and were relatively easy to install. Air movement seems about right for this size fan. The LED lights seem to have a "spot" effect directly under the fan with little side lighting. One fan had obviously been unboxed and repackaged, several components were missing the plastic protective bags, there were no rubber shipping supports installed in the motor assembly, and two screws were missing from the light mounting ring. I replaced the missing screws, and as the fan seems to work OK I decided not to return it.

I had been looking for outdoor lights for our front deck on our house. Wanted 44 inch fans with lights and this are perfect for us. Made well and should last for a long time

I put it together and it works! I don’t ask for anything more! And it was on sale!

The fan is not very strong other than that everything was fine. Haven't used for more than a couple weeks can't give a long-term answer.
