The air movement is excellent. However, it hums and vibrates terribly when on a higher speed setting. Also, the gold is nothing like the color pictured. Much more copper toned. We exchanged for another one and the color is the same as before and does not reflect what the ad pictures. The new fan still hums and vibrates the same as well.
I purshased this because i like having smart devices and i hate having to get up to either find the remote or switch to turn on or off the fans. I have multiple fans and soloution was less expensive that buying multiple smart fans. Installation was easy enough and adding the Alexa skill was simple enough and on the first try all fans were voice controlled. My biggest disappointment is thar the power connecter was loose at the device and it kept losing power. So im going to return this one and make one final second attempt. I enjoyed it enough to give it a second chance

Hi, I hope you're doing great! For the issue regarding the defective power cable of your Bond Bridge unit, you may contact us at email@example.com and we will be happy to assist you.
Great fan!!! We have 4 Hampton fans and 5 Hunter Fans in our home. We added this fan in our living room because of the 68” blade length. Wish all the fans were this make, just the smaller models for the other rooms. On speed level 3 the fan liturally blows your hair!! We added the after market 3 tier light kit and its beautiful!! Love this fan...
We bought this fan for our fanily room and couldn’t be happier. We bought the large (68inch) and small one (48inches). . The small one (48in) we placed in the bedroom. They are both high quality. My only complaint is that it only comes with a long post/stem, so we had to go buy 2 6 inch ones to attach the fans too bc we only have 8ft ceilings and the other attachments made the fan hang way too low.
This fan is perfect for our great room! We have high ceilings and we're looking for a fan that had a larger blade span then the builder put in. The one that was there was only 52 inches. This one is awesome because it has a larger blade span, you can control it with the remote and change the blade direction for the seasons on the remote. It's beautifully updated our family room and my husband put it in easily. It's so quiet too! I would highly recommend this fan.
We were in the market looking for a “gold” ceiling fan to replace existing noisy one. Found this Altura 68” ceiling fan in bronze and kept in my cart for $279.99, waited and got on sale for under $200. Also purchased light kit. Instructions could be better cause I had to google how to properly install light kit to this ceiling fan. Overall it’s “quieter” & “breezier” than previous fan however still makes clicking noises occasionally which can get annoying at times. Also had to purchase new 48” down rod cause existing down rod was too narrow in diameter for connecting to this fan. Beautiful large ceiling fan, blades, & light kit. Glad I waited for sale cause occasional motor noises still bug me!
It moves air quite well, but within 5 minutes of turning it on it made a horrible, loud BUMP sound, followed by a grinding sound. Then it stopped running. We turned it off at the remote, then restarted it. It started, reversed itself, then went forward again and has run fine for the last 10 minutes. I’ll update if things change, but I’m definitely glad I purchased the warranty. The last Hampton Bay fan we bought lasted less than a year before the motor only went one speed - EXTRA SLOW.
Also, we purchased the black model because we thought it would be simplest of the DC fan colors to match a light kit with. Hampton Bay and Home Decorators Collection do not make any
light kits that match the DC fan colors. The colors of the DC fans are different than all their other fans. We need a proper light kit. The instructions say it will work with any universal light kit. I bought a Hunter universal light kit, only to find that neither are actually “universal” as they weren’t compatible. Very frustrating.
