After multiple trips to many local vendors I finally settled on the Home Depot vinyl plank. I had read good reviews and, although, I had never installed anything like this before, I thought I could tackle it in a weekend. Took a couple of hours of trial and error to get the knack of putting each plank together perfectly, but with the help of a few basic tools (mallet and pounding block) I was on my way. Used the chop saw to vary the lengths and the jig saw to edges to fit around corners. I laid these planks over new plywood sub floors. They are beautiful! My mother is ecstatic! Looks like wood but is soft and silent underfoot. Rich color and a little texture makes people look twice and ask what I product I used. I am most happy that it is waterproof. I used about 400 sq feet in her living room and new kitchen remodel. Would definitely use this again!

Easier than the Grip Strip, far more flexible installation. Looks absolutely gorgeous. Scoring and snapping is easy, though for lengthy cuts we used our vinyl plank cutter from HD. We finished our large bath in 10 hours. We would recommend Whisper Walk under layment if any dips in your concrete foundation. We had some that didn't surface until this was laid, so there is a little hollow sound to a couple areas. But we can live with it. All in all, a beautiful and durable product that with it's waterproofing was perfect for our on suite.

I was not sure if I was going to use this or not but I’m glad I did and it came out excellent matched with the stair vinyl looks great. Spent about $2000 including my stairs, my labor is free

The vinyl flooring was easy to install, we layed it in the kitchen. The snap together tiles went together with the tap of a rubber mallet. The color was exactly like the sample. We’ve only had it on for a week, but loving it so far.

The flooring is much thinner than expected. The samples on display have a thickness of about 1/8 to 1/4 inch thickness. The "snap" feature on the edges of each piece is very small, resulting in a poor edge to edge fit. Difficult to get the long edge to fit properly while also trying to "snap" in the short edge, resulting in a slight gap between planks. I don't see any other choice but to hide the gray haps with wood putty to hide them. The calculator used to determine the amount of boxes needed to cover the calculated square footage coverage is not accurate. I purchased three boxes to cover a small bathroom, using only a box and a half. Had to make a 120-mile round trip to return the one used box, and at a cost of $50.00/box, had no use for it. Also purchased the Laminate and Wood Flooring Installation Kit, didn't work or help in the installation. I was going to also use it in my kitchen, but will look for other alternatives. I also noted the floor scratches easily. I have used the 12 X 36 inch "peel and stick" flooring in the past with much better results.

We recently installed this flooring in our basement. Everything we read said not to use an underlayment, so we didnt. The floor looks great...but you can feel it shifting with every step. Still happy we went with it and im really hoping it is as sturdy as it says!

Pro DIY guy I am not, if its simple and a way to mess up something simple I'm your man.I bought this floor because I have gutted my whole apartment including floors I love the color and pattern.Then I bought my first 4 cases and they sat there intimidating me,a contractor friend came over and showed me some tips and tricks and was actually pretty patient with me he came around 3 times and we got a decent amount done,but because now we were in the livingroom the wife wanted it done Asap.So I tried it solo was nervous at first but after the first couple of rows I was like this is a snap(pun intended)The key is Patience,dont rush it,watch any videos that might help and after a lil bit it will just fall into place.The only reason Ididnt give it a 5 star rating is because if you want to do a pattern like I wanted to frame in around my pellet stove you really cant due to the whole tongue and groove type deal,other then that I love it OH OH OH and I definitely highly recommend the Tool kit with the spacers and pull bar and Tapping block.

This has a very warm and natural look.

After installing the floor we noticed two boards in the middle of the living room were a different finish! Difficult to snap together!

Looks great easy to install

Just finished installing this flooring in one of my bedrooms. This was my first time installing any type of flooring. The flooring looks great and it went down pretty smooth. I felt it was pretty easy to connect the planks and just tap them in place with the rubber mallet and a scrap piece for a tapping block. Tools I used were a mallet, pull bar, utility knife, measuring tape, spacers and knee pads. Installing the first few rows was a little tricky because the flooring moves a lot while you are tapping planks in place. But once you get past that hurdle the rest went pretty smooth. Most of the hard work involved removing the old carpet, tack strip, and patching all the damage left from the tack strip. Total time to install the floor was about 2 weeks (1 week of that was removing bedroom furniture, old carpet, and repair concrete floors). I did this by myself as my wife is pregnant so she couldn't help any. For my first time I think I did a pretty decent job. After watching a lot of videos on Youtube and reading a lot of articles I felt pretty prepared by the time I got started. Now it's one to the next room. This type of work can be quite taxing on your knees so make sure you invest in knee pads.

Just finished installing flooring a few minutes ago. Very carefully moved the first piece of furniture that had furniture pads on it. It produced deep gouges. No way this will hold up at all. Ripping it out and paying good money for good flooring.

The flooring went down with no difficulty and it looks great. We are very pleased and considering putting it throughout the house.

These planks install easily with a razor knife, square and tapping block. I'm very pleased with the finished look.

Easy to install, very realistic-looking. The installer said that if he did not know better, he would swear it was real cherry wood on the floor.

Beautiful enhancement to our floor. Fairly easy to install and much more durable than expected. Protects against spillage for kitchen and dining areas.

Great look but it scratches very easily if you are not careful. My husband and father-in-law installed, with varying colors in a matter of a few hours. A little too thin for my liking but it works.

This floor is beautiful! It was fairly easy to install and seems durable. Had shipped to store and nothing was damaged. We installed 850 sq feet. The variations in board colors is beautiful. Definitely more of a gray color but in natural light I see shades of tans. I’m very happy with this floor!

I have an 80ft houseboat, ripped all the carpet and tile out and replaced with this myself. Very easy to work with! Cuts with box-cutter knife, just scribe and snap.Locks together very nicely and you cant even see a seam. Just be sure to start out good and square because there is NO play for adjustment.. The fished floor looks fantastic!

This was the easiest to use laminate flooring product to install. The product well made to avoid damages while moving around and during installation.

It was not difficult to install. We didn't have a decent cutter and actually used an exacto knife to cut the planks... Once we made a line with the knife it snapped apart. It would have been a lot less work if I rented a saw but it was fine. We did well especially since it was our first time installing a floor. We actually put it on top of small industrial carpet that was on the floor. Very satisfied...
