Customer Reviews for Home Decorators Collection Driftwood Gray Cordless Premium Faux Wood blinds with 2.5 in Slats - 58.5 in W x 64 in L (Actual Size 58 in W x 64 in L)
I bought 7 blinds for my entire house. Everyone of them warped. They either developed waves or turn into a curved shape. Do not buy them.

Not Gray
Color is brown, very disappointed. Sand would have been a more accurate description.

Gorgeous choice
Perfect fit, became difficult because I was battling a concrete Lintel I discovered but that was resolved with a concrete drill bit and the right tapcon anchors, if you’re frustrated because of this it’s not your fault it’s just your window frame.
Had some terrible cloth verticals and this changed the look of my whole house.
Considering buying more for other windows, color was perfect and I love the beveled corner of the valance.
100% would recommend but careful with “easy” installation claim

Not happy, we bought one and tried to make it shorter. Not sure what was Happening. It didn’t go well. We called store that we purchased, they didn’t help much . Called customer service didn’t help either. Here we stuck with unhappy product and customer service and unfunctional product .

A sickly yellow color
Just had these delivered and the chestnut color is just a weird greenish-yellow. Can't vouch for the install or quality because they're going back, but I won't even put them up in our rental unit because they look so weird. Picture shows the color against a faux-maple desktop and acacia flooring.

sturdy but cut it yourself
heavy with good weight. Doesn't feel cheap. But the employee cut every set wrong. So i googled if i could recut myself. Tape it nice and tight with masking tape. Measure the length you need. Clamp on a chop/miter saw. YouTube is full of vids. It's not even that it's the wrong length. They're all over the place. Not sure how each one was cut so uneven. Cut careful and slow. But not so slowly you melt the blinds from the heat of the saw blades

Poor quality.
After a short time the strings that make the blinds go up and down wore and broke. The blinds now do not stay up. They claim to have a warranty however the process has been extremely daunting and poorly managed. Home Depot probably does this so you’ll give up and just buy new blinds. To get a set of blinds replaced under warranty I have spend 25 minutes on chat, 40 minutes on the phone and have an email string going with about 20 emails including photos. WHAT A JOKE.

I love the look of these blinds, and the quality seems good. They installed very simply, and I liked the look until I got to the part in the instructions about shortening them. We almost completely ruined one of them and this was with two educated adults carefully following the instructions. We even looked online for videos. Basically these cordless blinds cannot be shortened no matter what the instructions say. The one that we shortened by several slats now hangs forward instead of hanging flat. Something happened to the tensioning cords while we were shortening. It's really frustrating because now I have one blind that is far too thick for the window space but I'm afraid to touch it. They were too expensive to just , throw away and start over and there were no other in the chocolate brown in stock at Home Depot. I would have to order a replacement blind. So I was quite disappointed in that aspect. Also, the instructions were not correct it's like a non-English-speaking person wrote them and left out an entire step.
In my pictures the blind on the left was not shortened so the bottom slats are just too thick. The blind on the right doesn't hang properly anymore because once you lift the blind, the base rail falls forward and no longer hangs flat. I'm just going to have to live with them that way.

Looks Amazing and an easy DIY Install
These blinds were the perfect color, perfect fit, and definately easy to install - I’ve seven windows. After installation, I realized no curtain could hide this beautiful window covering.

Poor Quality
I am on my 3rd blind in just over 3 years due to the string breaking on the first 2. I contacted the manufacturer's customer service, and they were very difficult to deal with and not helpful at all. Don't let the "warranty" or quality sell you on these. Both are terrible.

Blinds look good, but the valance corners were chipped when I had it cut to length and the sides of the valance don’t align nicely. Other than that it does the job.

Not good for southern exposure
Bought these for the whole house. They hold up fine in north-facing windows. However, they warped significantly in the south-facing windows after about a month. Sad because we bought 9 and only 2 still look decent. Not recommended for windows that get a lot of direct sun!

stay away from these blinds
These blinds didn't last 6months. they are warped and look like they are melting.
Can't get the money back to try something else. they will replace them but that doesn't stop the warping. so i guess we will be replacing them every 6 months.
great warranty bad product.

Think twice before buying these blinds!
These blinds are great until you hang a curtain over them. They heat warp very badly when they have a curtain or drape in front of them. We bout 25 of these for every window in our home and almost half have warped and Home Depot will not replace them if it’s outside of 90 days. Problem is we bought these in the fall and the problem didn’t happen until the heat picked up in the summer. Now it’s a waste of money. Buyer beware!!!!!

Not good long-term
Buyers beware, these are not a good long term (lasting more than 2 or 3 years) option. We have 8 of these blinds throughout our house that we initially installed 3 years ago. Out of the 8, we’ve had to replace 3 now in the last year because the mechanism inside that turns with the wand continually frays and breaks, rendering the wand useless.
If you’re considering buying these with the hopes that they’ll last, just don’t. Invest your money upfront in higher quality blinds that will last longer.

Warped in the sun!
These basically melted over the course of an hour on a hot day. Blinds are meant to block the sun.

Cheaply made Blinds but good for the amount of money you spend. Needs valance accessories.
These blinds are OK, they are cheaply made, but they get the job done. We went with plastic fines because of the tendency for wood blinds to warp in humid conditions. This company needs to make a valance joining system for bay windows. All they would have to do is make a 30° and a 45° joint where you could slide the valances into them to complete a inside corner.

Is 45 the new 46 now..?
You would think a custom made blinds should have the precise measurements as ordered right? WRONG! I would have bought the 47 that was available in the store and sand the edges by myself and would definitely serve its purpose of eliminating light. My previous blinds has better blockage than this! There is an inch on both sides of my window plus the bottom slats have gaps so light enters my room straight to my eyes while laying in bed which is more glaring!
