This is a beautiful light fixture. Seems very well made, very stylish. Perfect for our little kitchenette.

This light was to replace an old incandescent light at the front door hallway, the installation went easy and directions were minimal but easy to follow. The LED placement was well designed as it sets a even light pattern with the diffuser / glass in place and you don't really see the small LED units glowing by themselves, some we looked at had placement too far apart and when powered up it was very noticeable. It puts plenty of light out and works with our LED dimmer although not specified in manual. Did not get pulsing at lower output selections.

Prior to removal of old fixture and install of new chandelier, be sure power is off. Very nice 5 light chandelier with acrylic shade. This chandelier is in brushed nickel with a matching chain hung on a 10ft ceiling, enough chain to hang from a 14ft ceiling. The chain attaches to light by a "C" link and the same for the ceiling bracket. Enough wire is supplied for a 14ft ceiling, just cut and intertwine in chain as needed. The bulbs used are candelabra type with a maximum of 60 watts, not supplied. When installing on a high ceiling it would be helpful to have a second ladder to support the fixture or a helper.

Everything was pretty good overall with this chandelier. Looks nice but was somewhat more difficult to install since I could not use any of the hanging chain. I think it is just too big of a fixture for my location. Wife likes it, but does not leave much head room for tall people. Would be better suited for a foyer with high ceilings rather than a eight foot height.

This light was way larger than I expected, which simply required a different location for installation than initially anticipated. So instead of the dining room it went into the hallway. The overall appearance is quite good looking and so I am not too upset about having to move it. Because the fixture is mounted with a chain it did not present a problem with having to install it in a sloped ceiling either. I mounted the fixture with a dimmer switch and used 60 w LED bulbs and now the hall looks great! Very happy with this light fixture.

Home Decorators Collection 4-Light Polished Nickel Chandelier with White Drum Shade is a contemporary fixture that would definitely make your room/kitchen/foyer etc stand out. It is beautiful to look at and is embellished with nickel finish. The fixture is an easy install and took about 60 to 75 minutes. That said some of the instructions can be improved. If you have an existing light fixture then it should be easy to replace it. It does not come with bulbs and you will need four candelabra bulbs with a maximum wattage of 60w. Overall a decent looking light fixture.

This review is for the Home Decorators Collection 4-Light Polished Nickel Chandelier with White Drum Shade If you are looking for elegance without all that comes with some fixtures being too bling bling, this is the light fixture you have been searching for. The fixture is simple heavy metal chrome, with a non fabric drum shade that attaches with four screws. That all comes already assembled so you don't have to worry about putting it together. This light is larger than I was anticipating which is good. Takes four candelabra bulbs that are not included. I would recommend 60 watt led's with a dimmer switch. This one will look great dimmed, and the 60 watts will enable you to pump some lumens when needed. You will be handling this a lot during the install so I would keep the plastic covering it on until you are done.

I was looking for a light to update my dining room. I have a traditional crystal chandelier and it just doesn’t look right in my California Ranch style home. I really like the drum style of the light which diffuses the light and makes the dining room more welcoming because of the warmth of the shade versus the visible bulbs in the traditional chandelier. Shipping was fast and the light was well packed. The wire is 8’ long, so you can hang the light at least 7’ 6” off your celling. The light takes four 60 watt bulbs which will generate 3600 lumens. The light produces more lumens than I need in my 12’x12’ dining room, but that is a positive. My dining room light is on a dimmer, so if I am doing craft work at the dining room table, I can turn it up all the way. It is a beautiful and classic light that will look great in a dining room, entry and/or open stairwell. By the way, to calculate how many lumens you need in your dining room is simple. Dining rooms need between 10 to 20 lumens per square foot. Calculate your dining room square footage (mine is 144 sq ft (12’ x 12’) and then times it by the lumens per square foot 144*10 = 1440 lumens at the low end and 144*20 = 2880 lumens at the high end.

Home Decorators Collection 5-Light Brushed Nickel Acrylic Chandelier is a beautiful modern style chandelier. I love the thick heavy duty acrylic and not glass exterior. It makes it less fragile and so much easier to clean. Using 5- B10 Candelabra base clear bulb, 60 Watt max. (not included), let's the light shine through its 10mm thick clear acrylic panels. It's Pentagon shape is unique and gives a classy look over our dinning room table. Very easy installation for the DIY'er and had mine installed in about 30 minutes. The Brushed Nickel frame and cluster provides the pop of contrast to any area you install it in. Very durable steel construction. Compatible with incandescent, LED and CFL bulbs (60-Watt maximum per socket). Includes all mounting hardware, and comes with 6 ft. of adjustable length chain.

Perfect for a bedroom where you want simple design and not overly bright light. The brushed nickle and frosted dome give it a soft appearance. It was a breeze to install, took about 15 minutes to remove the old and install this. It is light enough to install solo, the glass dome is the heaviest part. There is no bulb, it uses tiny LEDs built in that use very little energy to light your space.

Very nice looking ceiling light, simple and clean. It was one of the easiest installs I have done! It comes with all the hardware you need to install and there are no bulbs to buy! As a replacement it took 15 minutes to remove the old and install the new. It is light enough that I didn't need a helper, just suspended it by the ground wire. I'm fascinated by the LED technology, these little squares provide all that light! It is perfect for a bedroom because the light is not overly bright. The glass dome is frosted to provide a diffused light.

I chose the larger of the two options for the bedroom and very glad I did since the size was appropriate for the space. The new light is simple to unpack and layout. I did not need the instructions at all to install as this light is extremely intuitive and I cant see that it could go together in any way but one. I did look at the instructions after I was done to see if I did anything wrong. I did not. The light comes with its own bracket that has 4, yes 4, diameters that will fit 4 different box sizes. FANTASTIC design! Two screws with the flat head screw driver and it was in. Next hookup the Ground, White and Black with the new wire nuts supplied. NOW here is the really great news....you do not need to stuff the wires all the way back in the box since the light has a large recess on the back. Place the wires up and that is it. Slide the light fixture over two protruding bolts and screw on the retaining caps. Hold the glass up and screw in the center bolt and cap. DONE! And the light is sealed so NO bugs getting it. The light output is fantastic with instant on and NO buzz. I love it and you will too.

I hung this fixture in my daughter's room and she absolutely loves the design. The fixture was super easy to install and included everything you need for installation. We chose to use the chain and have the chain plug into the wall rather than hang it from an existing outlet in the ceiling, that way we could hang it over my daughter's desk area to provide her more light in that area of her room.It is well made from quality materials and is really bright. This light fixture uses the tiny end bulbs.

Besides being a nice modern looking light fixture and LED too, the slim flush mount makes it a great alternative to install in areas where the ceiling is relatively low. Quality looks to be decent and installation instructions were pretty clear with diagrams. I know others have said they were missing parts when shipped but that wasn't the case with use.

The installation was easy and the quality of the fixture is average for an import. One thing that did stand out was the preset screw depth on the mounting plate. It went a long way toward the ease of installation. I do have one issue with this fixture and that's the relatively dim illumination. At 15 watts, it's only equivalent to an incandescent bulb slightly larger than 100 watts. Overall; I'm reasonably pleased with it, but I could have used more light. If you need more than the equivalent of 100 watts or so, keep looking.

14 IN. BRUSHED NICKEL LED FLUSH MOUNT CEILING LIGHT WITH WHITE GLASS SHADE by Home Decorators Collection Our center ceiling master bath light is dated-- badly dated-- like 1987 bad. We are in the process of remodeling the room from the studs, and the ceiling light was not a priority. But this light was very appealing. Simple-- not complicated or overly designed. And it is LED which means I will never have to replace a bulb. The mount is a very standard ceiling work-box two-screw mount. The thumb-studs are a nice touch, but the screws are recessed into the protective clear shield over the LEDs and my old thumb and finger did not fit-- so have a needle-nose pliers at the ready. My only complaint is that the glass does not fit in a recessed manner-- so at certain angles-- you can see into light-- between the glass shade and nickel body. I removed and remounted the glass shade a couple of times and that is just the way it is. It is the perfect brightness for a 7 foot by 9 foot bathroom. Probably perfect in a hallway too.

Considering that when opening the package I did not realize the glass cover was on the top foam packing under a thin piece of foam it dropped about 3 feet to the cement floor in the garage, but it did not break. I would say the quality is good. It looks really good. I installed it in the closet. it looked really good, but I did not feel it was as bright as I wanted. I had a two foot led light in there that gave off more light than this one. It is a really good looking light. It was easy to install. The instruction are clear. All hardware needed is included.

wanted a light for the small dining room that looked high end but not over power the room and this one fit the bill. great polished nickel finish (looks like chrome) with a beautiful white cloth shade. easy to install with plenty of wire and chain, we have a 8 foot ceiling so did not need all the chain and wire it looks like it would work with 10 and 12 foot ceilings too.

This 21" white shade with 4 bulbs is very beautiful and elegant. My wife and I wanted something new for our formal dining room and this light fits the bill perfectly. Not only was I impressed with the lamp itself, but the packing it came in was super solid and protected the shade from any transit bumps or mishandling. If you are replacing an existing fixture, the installation is very simple and will only take a minute or two to switch out. Good instructions and all the hardware you will need are supplied. Just remember to get "candelabra" size bulbs: I use soft white, dimmable LED bulbs (Model # BPCTF60927CAFIL/2/RP). Highly recommended!

Simple modern design and I was impressed that this is the first light fixture where both wires that are the same color that the wires were actually marked which was hot and which was neutral. That is about the best I can say about the light. There are numerous negatives about the light. First the spoked section with the light sockets is connected to the rest of the fixture by a ball and socket. The spoked section is not balanced so it hangs crooked. There is no mention in the booklet, but they do provide a hex key which I assume is for a set screw to hold the light level. The problem is that there was no screw in the threaded hole so I called the help line which is Home Depot. They could not help me and told me to call Troy Lighting. Three calls to Troy Lighting a week ago and they still have not returned my call. I did have a screw that kind of fit and it is holding the light level for now. So second is ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT! So if you have an issue, put it back in the box and take it back because you will not get any help from Troy Lighting. Third, and this is just a personal opinion, I think the light sockets should have been standard instead of candelabra as the candelabra bulbs look a bit lost in the fixture. Fourth, and again this is personal opinion, I think this light is way too high priced for what it is. So with the total lack of customer service from Troy Lighting and the ridiculously high price, I definitely DO NOT recommend this item.

This is a beautiful and well designed 12" brushed nickel LED flush mount ceiling light. It is stylish and seems very durable and is eco-friendly as it uses less power. The fixture is LED which of course means you never have to worry about changing bulbs, there aren't any, and it will use a lot less power than an old incandescent bulb fixture. This one has the conventional two screw mounting system of older fixtures so it is just as easy to install as any traditional type light fixture. The style of the fixture is quite sleek and nice, It hugs the ceiling and just does its job very competently.

This is a great looking fixture and It appears to be really well made. My only issue with these "fabric" or whatever it is drum lights is that my experience with them is that they gather dust and are a pain in the butt to clean. This one looks great out of the box so time will tell on if this one is easy to clean and maintain or not. Good looking light for a good price...go for it

This thing is nice. I love that it is thick heavy duty acrylic and not glass. It makes it less fragile and easier to clean. Kind of reminds me of the bullet proof glass you see at certain banks. It looks great and from what i have seen when unboxing it is awesome quality. I am waiting for the matching 3 light fixture to show up before i mount this but I am happy with it

Brushed Nickel LED Flush Mount Ceiling Light with White Glass Shade Wanting a new light in the laundry room, one that would be brighter than what I had, I saw this light which has built-in LED lights, making it maintenance free and the LED lights should last for years if not longer. This flushmount light fixture is made with a brushed nickel finish, and a frosted white glass shade. This light is easy to install and take less than 30 minutes to do. This fixture is just under 12 inches in diameter, and about 3.875 inches thick. This light fixture uses about 15 watts of power and the brightness is about 800 lumens. The light color is considered on the warm white spectrum of light, much like what an incandescent light would put out. I really like this light. Light output is greater than my old one and I'm happy with the way it looks.

Canopy comes wrapped in clear cellophane, which is probably just to protect it, but I ended up liking the way it looks just leaving it on. Gives it kind of a diagonal striped effect. I’ll see how it plays out over time. Canopy is just under 21” in diameter, and 8” tall. Fixture includes a full 6 ft of chain, and an additional 2 ft of cord over that. Chain comes with an unscrew-able chain link on each end, which is greatly appreciated. I did a test installation by hooking up a piece of extension cord with a plug, and hanging it by the chain, like a hanging lamp. Takes candelabra base bulbs up to 60 watts. I tried some 40 watt flame tipped one's, and they looked great. This light would look good in a lot of spaces, but if you can take advantage of the long chain, why wouldn't you? Nice drum light.
