Used this in our upstairs hallway. Tested it out for a year to see how it did with our dogs/kids. Loved it so much that we did our master bedroom and walk in closet too. Plan on doing the next 3 bedrooms upstairs next. You can buy the door thresholds yourself and stain to match, then apply poly. Cheaper than the refinished.

We redid our entire house with this flooring about a year ago and still love it. I was drawn to it because of the the absence of strong grain and it hasn’t disappointed. It was very easy to install and we haven’t had any issues except for a few scratches here or there which can be covered quite easily by rubbing walnuts into the scratch.

Water damage in Kitchen forced me to search for a close replacement to match our existing. Not exact but very close and so easy to work with. In fact I prefer the finish to our old one.

I installed these floors myself in my living room and still love them to this day. They do not scratch easy, regardless the style hides imperfections. I’ve had multiple parties and lots of traffic through the house with no issue. I’m planning to run the same floors upstairs now. (Wellington)

If you are putting this flooring in a high traffic area, think again! Pretty much anything (and I mean anything) will scratch this floor. We put this in our living room and hallway on our main floor. It is a beautiful color (wellington), but for $3.49/sqft, I feel like we could have gotten much more durable flooring for that price. 8 months after installation, and this floor looks 10 years worn. Really disappointed and wanted to love this floor.

I am writing this review just to warn other pet parents. We installed this flooring last year and have been living on it for 10 months. Any kind of pet accident will leave a dull mark on the flooring. It looks like the finish is ruined. We built this house and moved in with a new puppy and figured this out within the first month we lived here. Makes me upset every time I look at it and the area was cleaned up immediately with paper towels. We lived in last home for 13 years with red oak flooring and never had this problem. Don’t know if this happened because of the material of the flooring or if it was because of the color. If you don’t have pets the flooring is great. Comfortable to walk on and looks great. If you have a pet beware.

We had the light taupe flooring installed in about 900 sqft of our house, living room, dining and bedroom. The quality is very good. Our installer said he could tell it was well made flooring. It's been installed for a week and is withstanding our two medium sized dogs well plus the furniture we moved in. Not scratches so far. Very happy with our purchase. Kind of regretting that I didn't install it in the other bedrooms of the house now!

What a sturdy & beautiful appeal. It's been 1 week since installation. My house was built in the late 1930s. The flooring required some leveling prior to installing. With one installer, it took 10 hours.

Wonderful especially for the price !!. The handscraped look hides scratches. The actual color is darker than the pictures. It is brown. It is very strong. The color is beautiful. And each plank is solid thick, not cheap . My floor installer was amazed at how easily it installs and he is recommending it to others. It is dense to cut so he used an electric blade. I re did the bedrooms last year with this and it has held up to foot traffic, rolling suitcases , pets and furniture being moved on it very well. It is a bargain for the price. I am very happy with it.

This is a sturdy hardwood floor of great quality. I have it installed professionally about a month ago. When I first starting opening the boxes I let it sit for a few days, after that it just was installed immediately after they opened the boxed (Nothing Happened). At first, I was going to have it installed in the living room only but then, when I saw how beautiful it was I decide to do the whole house which was about 1800 sq. Looks awesome! I think is classy and elegant. I have two boys which they play all day with toys and legos...they play soccer inside the house sometimes... I haven't seen any scratch yet. Easy to clean, good price. I am very happy with this hardwood flor.

After a long search and the purchase of tons of floor samples, I decided on these floors to cover over 2000 sq ft. I decided on the floor because of the color and because the resistance to scratching. At this time, the floors have been installed for 6 months. I have three dogs and they do slide against the floors, occasionally. I must admit, I don't have problems with the dog scratches, it is the simple scratches that I was not prepared for. I have dragged a box across the floor, two feet, and there is a scratch, and even small scratches from the furniture. I quickly had to place velvet tips on EVERY piece of furniture. I thought the floors were hard to scratch when in fact that is not true. The floors met my expectation on the color but do not meet my expectation on the scratch resistance. I have a ton of fine scratches throughout the home.

The flooring was relatively easy to install. For more stubborn boards I used a scrap 1x4 and a hammer to knock it into place. I will suggest finding a wall that is relatively square and starting off that wall. I had about 3 very frustrating failed attempts at installation initially because the right hand side wall (shiplapped) is an addition on the original house and the wall was NOT straight at all. Once I started laying the flooring from the left hand wall, it was very quick. I love the way it looks and so far it has held up very well with my 3 large dogs running over it and drooling all over the place. This was also my first time ever installing flooring, so experience isn’t a must have.

Very pleased with this flooring. Install was pretty painless and the quality of the flooring exceed our expectations.

This is a BEAUTIFUL floor, complements from the hardwood installer (among others). I actually ordered a box of this to see the real color/look before ordering everything. I didn't realize the planks were long 6' planks and what a great surprise as they are beautiful in my hallways, dining room, study and great room. The installer used a gluedown method, so there's no 'play' or give. He said he appreciated that the planks were wide and long so it covered more area and installation went fast. All the planks were in great condition with little or no damage at all. They seemed to cut easily without any splintering as I can see in my final product. We used white quarter-round to give it a nice pop. While it is grey, it does have some warm/brown tones to it so it isn't too grey. My wife still tries to convince herself that it isn't grey. I had HD ship it directly to my house and deliver it to an exact location in my house and it was pretty much delivered within 3 days of my order, fast and easy and great service. After the job was done, I took the excess back to my nearest HD and returned it without issue (along with some other colors that I had ordered). HD is the best! I really wanted to see the different colors/planks in my house with my lighting before I committed. I did order some t-mouldings and the matching quarter round for some areas. But one warning is that the nosing pieces are discontinued so my contractor had to do their best to match any other wood (stairs and stepdown nosings) to the warm grey color. They did a great job! Pictured is the great room with the flooring around 4pm (Eastern, February, sunny day outside and translucent window shades). Still have a painter coming to do the floorboards and touchups in the room.

We installed about 2,000 square feet of this flooring in our home last year. It already looks terrible! It scratches SO easy. Just normal daily wear seems to scratch it. Our rolling computer chair has left deep scratches all over the office. Moving furniture or just simply sliding a chair across the floor scratches it. Thie floor also looks dirty all the time. The last time it truly looked nice was the first five hours after it was installed. I have tried multiple cleaners and nothing seems to work. The texture in the planks also catches everything and you have to scrub each piece to get it to come clean. Very dissapointing as this flooring is in our entire house and will be timely and costly to change!! I do not recommend this floor if you have children or pets or want a nice looking floor for years to come. Learn from my mistake and select something more durable!!

I installed this flooring a couple weeks ago. I’m very happy with the pecan color (heavy grey/brown) and finish (slightly distressed). Most all of the boards were usable without manufacturer defects. The boxes the floors come in are weak and the ends come apart very easily; so when the boxes were delivered and unloaded from the truck, the wood planks slipped from out of the box, hitting the ground, causing the edges of the wood planks to be heavily damaged (4:26 boxes ordered were like this). Install was pretty straight forward. I bought a small table saw/saw blade for ~$170, and already had a jigsaw and was able to do all of the cuts needed. I installed ~500-600sqft, without prior experience, and was able to complete it over a week's time (one full weekend and 5 days after work). I’ll write another review in spring/summer time, when floors are expected to swell a little. (Floors were installed in winter in NC), 1/2 spacing was left around perimeter of rooms so no buckling should occur.

This flooring is beautiful once installed. We bought Pecan. I'd give it 5 stars other than that the installation is more difficult due to having to glue it down. This product is very thin so I wouldn't recommend installing it as a floating floor. Another downside is that the matching T molding has to be nailed down so you see nail holes. If you don't have flooring experience I'd recommend professional installation. Now that it is installed we love it though.

Good product easy to install. The only thing is when you walk on with bare feet you leave smudges on it. So you have to constantly wipe off the flooring.

Looks great. Easy to install Except in areas where you can’t bend it into the track and need to hammer it in with a block. The tongue implodes before it grabs into the groove. Scratches easier than I expected as well But otherwise great.

bought this product for our office floor. looks beautiful but when I installed this wow the smell was so strong, the boards scratched and split easy, and also there was so many warped boards straight from the package..

This flooring is beautiful in person. Very dark with a nice texture. Planks came in great condition and well packaged. Super easy to install, got a small bedroom done in a few hours. It looks fantastic

Very easy to put down, great construction, and overall beautiful product. Only had a few pieces that the coloring was a little farther off from the rest during my project which consisted if 720 sq. ft.

This flooring snaps together very easy. Much easier to install than other types of flooring. Great quality. The pictures on Home Depot’s website don’t quite look like the real flooring. The actual flooring looks much better. We were very pleased with the look of our new living room. The color we installed was Light Taupe
