Easy Install Following the Video
I'm pleased so far with this fan. It was very easy to install by following the video here on the Home Depot site (I'm guessing it may also be listed on the Hansfield site). Love the features of the remote, especially the color bar showing the speed level and light brightness on it. Time will tell, but very satisfied.

This fan is sleek and clean. Love the look of it! My only hold back on it is I wish the kit had included weights to balance the blades. Our fan spins pretty smoothly but with a slight shimmy.

First, very easy to install. Everything that needed to be bolted lined up very easy and the bolts/screws were very easy to tighten. Hook up was almost a "plug and play" because the light was just a matter of plugging it in. Instructions are a little off but following the pictures made it pretty simple as far as what pieces need to go on first. The fans have a turn down at the back edge that even on lower speeds you can still feel the air movement. I installed over my bed and can't sleep without that gentle breeze. Also with a dimmable remote controlled light it makes it easy to adjust everything without getting out of bed.

This fan is so cool! I love how it looks in my living room, but love that it is indoor/outdoor as it may go to my covered patio when it is finished. One word of caution: If you purchase more than one of the Home Decorators fans with remote control, you will want to adjust the frequency in one of them. I bought another HD fan and, after they were both installed, realized when I used the remote on one, it was also controlling the other.

Product looks great and installation was pretty easy following the video in the site, however, fan barely moves any air even in the highest speed available. I will test it a few more days but most likely we’ll be returning it.

Must be installed with the rod for the rated CFM.
