The shade material is very easy to clean with mild soap and worm water. What I like is that with a flick of the hand it will rise and stop when fully retracted or at a pre-set height. They are stain-resistant and easy to clean due to our patented self-cleaning properties.It comes with complete and easy to follow instructions. Can be ordered custom fit to your window by measuring from inside window left jam to right jam and can also be install on the window trim.. I hope this helps with your decision. The Home Decorators Collection Natural Cordless Stain Resistant Blackout Roller Shades 37 in. W x 72 in. L is a beautiful blackout blind. We are pleased with its performance. While the installation was a challenge due to the wiring needed in the area. The instructions for installation need to be more explicit, This was my second one of these to install and I needed to take careful measurements to get it right.

We've always had great luck with Home Decorators, so I was excited to receive their roller shade for our kitchen window. The layout of our kitchen is interesting. I like the size of our kitchen, however one window received blinding sun during certain parts of the year. I installed another roller shade on that window and I wasn't impressed, so I took it down and installed this roller shade. Differences between the old and new. This shade is much better made. The materials are really great and the action of the roller mechanism is much smoother and more solid feeling. The shade material is night and day better. Thicker, has a nicer feel and the pull at the bottom has not only a nice look, but a great feel too. This shade has a nice off white color. I tried to get a good picture, but it doesn't do the shade justice. The shade is much longer than I need. I also did something different with this shade. I installed it on the outside of the window. It doesn't look as clean, but it does a much better job of blocking the sun. We haven't hit the time of year when the sun is blinding, so I'll have to wait to see how this shade works. My gut feeling is that it'll work well - I think it'll be much better than the last shade. Our kitchen has a more modern feel, so roller shades work well. It has a slightly industrial/commercial feel, which goes well with the stainless steel/granite/luxury vinyl flooring of our kitchen. It would not go well with the white cabinet/formica kitchen in our condo. Please keep this in mind, because it has a distinct style. One concern is the clips that hold the shade roller mechanism to the wall. It's not metal, so I hope it holds up well. Also, the instructions on where to place the brackets was a little confusing. The directions were not clear at all - I read and re-read it a few times. I included it in my photos, but they didn't come out too good. Overall, I highly recommend this set of roller shades. The quality is very good and it feels like it'll last a long time.

I like the Home Decorators Collection White Cordless Stain Resistant Blackout Roller Shades 23 in. W x 72 in. L very much; however, the instruction set is ridiculous. The instruction page needs a lot more detail as can be seen in picture below. Details which should include minimum/maximum measurements on the drawings. Overall, I am pleased with the effect which the blind does, much better than the metal Venetian blinds.

I ordered these to block out the light from my spare bedroom over my garage and they are perfect to keep the light and all the heat from the Florida sun from making that room unbearable to stay up in that room. The installation is very straightforward and easy for most anyone to be able to do with minimal help. You will only need simple tools that most people have in their homes. Great product for a Very fair price!

Install of this Home Decorators Collection blackout shade was super easy. Pretty much you need for install is included with the exception of a screwdriver. The instructions weren't the greatest. While there are pictures included, some explanations would be helpful as some parts (like the install of the cover) wasn't as straight-forward as it initially seemed. Otherwise, it took probably 15 minutes to remove the old shades and install these new ones. While the shades blackout most light, the way the shade is mounted allows for some light to come through at the top. The shades don't seem to be of the greatest quality and have a bland look to them. Overall, they are okay, do the job for the most part, but are nothing that great.

Installation took no more than 10 minutes perhaps because I was trying to be perfect and make sure that it was level. This is a deal for any window that you have no depth to include or to add any sort of specific window treatments. I installed mine in my garage. The only downfall is the clips that hold the roller are plastic.

We have been using slat blinds in our house. They are OK, but when the sun is in the west there is too much sun coming in for watching TV, and it really warms up the area in the summer time. The roller shade is better at keeping the sun out. Another benefit is that the cords on our old blinds were becoming a pain to get set in the right position, but the roller blind is doing a better job of adjusting the height. The installation was exceedingly easy. Once you get the mounting hardware up, the blind just clicks into place. And if you want to take the blind down, you only have to pull a small tab on the right side to release the blind. I have already ordered another of these for another window.

I requested this item because the description said "HOME DECORATORS COLLECTION CUT-TO-SIZE NATURAL CORDLESS BLACKOUT STAIN RESISTANT ROLLER SHADES 55 IN. W X 78 IN. L". I needed this "cut to size". The only problem is that you can't cut this to size. Hence, the 1 star rating. It's about two inches too big for my space. So, for now, I'm leaving it in the package until I can find a suitable place for it.

This shade came with all the brackets and screws needed to install it. My window well is shallow. I decided to install the shade with the brackets outside and above the window frame. I was a little confused by the picture instructions. You are instructed to add one inch to the width of the shade for the distance between the two brackets. Based on the small picture I wasn’t sure if the width of the shade was the width of the fabric, or the width of the entire shade assembly. I finally got the brackets installed the correct distance apart, using the width of the fabric. The cover that hides the shade when it is rolled up was the correct length for the correct distance. Then I realized that the bottom of the brackets needed to be at least 1 ½ inches above the casing around the window. This distance allowed the shade to be inserted correctly into the right-side bracket. Having the shade inside the window frame might provide a more complete blackout. The windowsill holds the shade out. I pull the shade just past the top of the windowsill, and then curl the bottom on the windowsill. Sometimes I put some rods to hold the shade down against the windowsill. This works great. At night there is not enough street light coming through to show up on a picture. This makes for better sleep. The shade rolls nicely and locks in place. When I roll up the shade, I don’t feel like the shade will pull out of my hand and roll up faster than I want. The cream color I chose is a little darker than my wall paint, but it looks nice.

The instruction sheet is clear and all you need is a screwdriver and a level and the installation takes about 15 minutes. I am not sure about how the self-cleaning works but I do notice the vinyl canvas is less likely to attach to small particles. The installation is super easy and I like its cordless mechanism. This is a great product.

Quite a shade better with this Cut-to-Size NATURAL Cordless Blackout Stain Resistant Roller Shades 72 in. W x 78 in. L. It works great to keep the afternoon sun out of our patio. Between 3 and 4 in the afternoon you can bake. Installation was a snap, just need a screwdriver, level, and elbow grease and it was up. All the parts were included and clear instructions as well.

This shade came with good instructions although it is pretty basic to install. The shade bracket is a very good, heavy duty and does not bend of move when you pull the shade down. The shade itself is a very good thickness and keep the light out very nicely. It is easy to pull down and put back up. I also noticed that it keeps some of the cold out of the house with the thickness of the shade. Top notch quality.

This blackout shade is absolutely working for me, it’s 29 inches wide and I hung it over the garage door so that when the garage door is open I can pull the shade down and the sun coming from the west doesn’t fry me at my workbench. It installed very easily just measure the width of the shade and add a half an inch on each side for the bracket. It’s self cleaning and self rewinding with just a pull of the shade whether it goes down or up.

Home Decorators collection Cut-to-size natural cordless blackout stain resistant roller shade is a truly high quality shade. It glides up and down smoothly and easily. Installation is pretty straightforward and easily accomplished.The only con is that while the verbage in the shade description states it's Cut-to-size, it cannot be cut at the store or ordered cut to your window's exact width size. I mounted mine on the outside of my window casing.

This is a high quality window shade with nice heavy fabric/vinyl and a high quality bottom rail. My issues with the shade are that there are no directions for how to cut it to size and the heavy bottom rail would make it very difficult to cut. Also, I am missing some of the parts needed to mount the shade, as you can see from my photos. If you order the correct size for your window and receive all of the proper parts then I would recommend this window shade for you.

This blind was Quick and easy to install. I did not have to cut it,so don’t know how hard to do that. I like the aluminum cover to finish off the blind. The blind came with all the hardware to mount it. It rolls easily and doesn’t bind up . The end mounts are plastic and will see how they hold up to use of the blind. Looking into buying more for other windows to block out the summer heat and sun.

A good blackout shade, but very plain. I tried these in a bedroom but it was too plain for the decor. Additionally, I found installation more involved than expected.  The ends of the shade fit into plastic holders and the spindle on the spring end is only about half an inch long, if the shade moves ever so slightly away, it jumps off the spring spindle. That means there is very little play/allowance during installation for width. These didn't fit inside my window pocket (which I prefer), but I assume if they did then there would be less chance of the shade jumping off the spring spindle because the plastic ends can't move apart. As I said these would be ok in the right situation/decor.

I work from home and during the summer months, there was just too much light entering the room with my existing roller shade, despite the shade being pulled down.  This Home Decorators Collection white roller shade was used to replace an older “transparent” shade.  What a difference!  It blocks all light, making it perfect for me to do my work, not to mention helps keep that room cooler during the triple digit heat days by keeping the sun out. This shade is heavy duty and I like how thick the shade itself feels.  The shade puller, made of metal that is attached to a bar, gives me confidence that when I go to pull the shade down, the weight is transferred evenly, resulting in a shade that will last for a long time to come.  My other shade didn’t have a puller attached to a bar and after a while, my fingers went through. I don’t have that worry with this shade. Install was a breeze with clear instructions and all hardware is included. This shade is also stain resistant!  Honestly, this roller shade packs everything under the sun into a high quality roller shade.

Receive this blackout shade with the intention of using it in the guest bedroom so that when people come and stay they’ll have a pleasant slumber experience. Instructions look pretty straightforward and all necessary hardware looks of quality and should last a long time.You can cut the shade for whatever length you need depending on the height of your window as well to overall great product.

I have two double windows downstairs in my home. I got two different Style Well rollers for them. When I got them in the mail, I took them put and measured. They fit a double window without cutting width at all. Perfect fit. But they also looked different than the picture online. They looked like an office, rather than a home. As soon as I showed my wife my plan she vetoed it. They are nice and high quality. But they aren't very stylish. Knowing this in advance may help.

This cordless shade is perfect for our home. We have a window AC unit so we are constantly looking for a curtain that falls just above the AC so it doesn't block the air. unfortunately the brackets are plastic so they don't feel extremely secure to the wall. There are no drywall hangers either so those must be purchased separately if needed. The actual shade is sturdy though and the quality of the features is great.

These are absolute trash. They do not roll up completely or evenly so they are always in some sort of down position. I wish i had installed these when i received them instead of waiting for the remodel to be complete so i could have gotten my money back. Total trash.

Does not roll up. Pain to install. Inaccurate product photo. Do not buy. Junk.
