Quiet and easy to install. I had and old fan when I bought the house. This fan is what I wanted.

Looks great works great

I like the fan but the blade color is nothing like the pictures. The blades are much darker and make them appear as the same color of brown as the motor (not oil rubbed bronze). They are the same color on both sides. Not what I was hoping for but not worth exhamging after installation.

Very powerful and nice design.

Good quality and easy installation. Clear instructions. Took about an hour start to finish. Didn't need to balance the blades either. Used the standard length down-rod that came with it. Pushes air with ease. Installed it in our living room which is approx 25 x 20 feet. Dimmable LED light is handy too.

Just beautiful! So quiet. So elegant! Easy installation and we absolutely love the dimmer feature. This fan has changed our lives. No more sweating! LOL. Highly reccomend!

Quiet, stable, moves air efficiently. Because the fan is mounted on a 18 ft. ceiling and ceiling fan receivers are prone to failure I opted not to have the remote receiver installed utilizing a wall mounted dimmer for the light and a three position toggle switch for the fan.

The Mercer 4 blade is a nice simple to install fan. the four blades are white on both sides . the 14 watt light is very bright .and the 3 speed remote with light control is easy to use and read . big plus is the remote is design so you can reprogram the Frequency per the 4 dim switch-pins . the unit includes the battery for the remote . the Mercer Fan can be installed ceiling mounted or down rod mounted . there a Red LED light that glows when buttons are pushed on the remote to indicate the battery working. allow about hour to 2 hours to install the Mercer Fan . everything included except ceiling mounting bolts or screws . the Mercer fan has a lifetime warranty .reversible motor . there was one small metal bracket shown on instruction sheet in parts list . this part is not shown were to install in directions. part # 00 .

This is a really cool modern or contemporary ceiling fan. I've included a couple of pictures of two of the more interesting features of this fan. First things first, though ...regarding the assembly and installation, the whole process was quite simple ...very similar to other ceiling fans I've assembled and installed (and I've installed a lot). One difference with this fan is that the blades are screwed on inside the fan itself (see attached photo) for that sleek, modern appearance. No more difficult, just different. Secondly, this fan has a really unique LED light fixture ...in fact, it doesn't even look like a traditional light at all, but it puts out a lot of light and is supposed to last for decades (see other picture). This light won't be susceptible to fan vibration like traditional incandescent bulbs, and it puts out much less heat than incandescent bulbs. The fan moves a lot of air, has a great finish and no wobble right out of the box. It's four inches larger in diameter than the more common 52 inch fans, so would look great in a large room. Silent operation is the icing on the cake. On a side note, I always recommend a fan brace for a solid installation.

This is a 56-inch ceiling fan from Home Decorators Collection. The fan arrived well packaged and all the pieces were included. Instructions were easy to follow and detailed. The fan has 4 blades instead of the usual 5, but I feel it provides better air flow than a 5-blade fan. It has a 14 watt integrated LED light. If the bulb ever goes out, you will need to get a new light kit as the bulb cannot be replaced. The 14 watt LED light is bright enough for a large room. It has 3 speeds and the motor is very quiet, even on the high setting. This fan also comes with a remote control to control the light and speed of the fan. The remote can be hung on the wall with the 2 screws that were provided. Because of the 56-inch blades, it works great for a large room, such as a 15 x 20 bonus room, which is where I am using it to replace an older fan. I chose to install the fan close to the ceiling, so I did not use the extension rod. The fan is little heavier than our existing one, so make sure your ceiling box can handle the weight. Installation time took approximately 2 hours, which included taking down the old fan and installing the new one. You will need wire cutters, a Phillips head screwdriver and we also used a drill to tighten the screws. The only issue I had was the remote control. The room where we installed this fan has 2 switches on the wall, and uses 4 wires (black, blue, green and white) in the ceiling box instead of the standard 3 (black, green and white). This makes it a little difficult to control the light and fan with the remote because of the 2- wire remote receiver on the AC side. The fan does not have the traditional pull chain to change the speed of the fan or turn the light on, so the remote must be used. Because of this, make sure you keep A23 batteries around. Overall this fan is great. It’s very clean and modern looking with the 4 blades and integrated light. I would recommend this product.
