First one lasted about 8 mos. it was replaced under warranty, but had to pay someone to test it, then take it down, and then install the new one

PLEASE HELP! We LOVE this fan, however, we need a new remote control. Ours no longer works and when we went to the store to try to buy a replacement we were told they could not help us. PLEASE if you know how to buy only the remote let me know!

Very Quiet!
Needed a fan for our greatroom and came across this one. Easy to install though assembly of the fan blades did require a little more time than anticipated. However once I had every assembled I was satisfied with the aesthetics of it and more importantly its very quiet. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a ceiling for a large room and one that is quiet but looks good as well.

The light though, it’s like the flashlight of God shining on you. You can’t ignore it. I had to get a dimming film to put over it

It would be nice if the 2 mounting screws included...
It would be nice if the 2 mounting screws included washers if only you make them more secure against the mounting bracket. One of them, the head is just barely small enough to "pinch" the slot rather than be flush against it.

Doesn’t Work
We got this fan 6 months aboard it doesn’t work. It only worked for two months and then it stopped, I only realized it now and it’s too late to return it so now I have no fan and I lost my money. I would not recommend this fan for anymore who wants long lasted fans.

The fan is larger than expected and not able to be mounted flush with the ceiling. We ended up moving to a different room because it was too low in the room we purchased for. That aside- it is a nice fan - looks and works great!

Palermo: Out of the box unbalanced
Unacceptable occilation and noisie due to inbalance. Manufacturer offers free of charge balancing shims, but these are not included with product. It is not a keeper. Not out of the box Winward quality. Own three of those wobble free for the last 9 years. Also own three rather recent Kensgrove 72-perfect our of the box and so far. Should I stick to ABS blades? Plywood blades were a significant cont when picking the Palermo
