We absolutely love these top down shades when they work! I bought 8 for my front porch windows and I love that I can let light in through the top and still have some privacy. HOWEVER, 2 of my 8 stopped working and they no longer retract from the bottom, so I can only bring the top down. This is extremely frustrating! I would love to buy more for other windows in my house, but I am hesitant since I can’t trust that they will work. Would be great if Home Depot would replace defective ones!

I bought a lot of them for my new house. The product and price are great. I also want company to know that most new house window are metal now. Also, the windows are bigger than before. Please see the image. This window is 82.5" width. I did custom order for this one. Hope they can make more width product, not limited to 72". So, we don't have to do the special order.

These shades are perfect and come in all sizes but I wish there were more colors - specifically, a gray or light blue!

Love these blinds! They let in plenty of light while giving complete privacy! And you can adjust them from the bottom or top. Highly recommend. Easy to install. Fast shipping and came exactly as the size stated.

Easy(ish) to install shades. I am using these primarally for privacy. They let in a TON of light and my plants are flourishing. I have had these blinds for about 8 months and have no complaints. I must have measured incorrectly because when the blind came it was the correct size I ordered but did not fit! I went in to my local HD and the staff was willing to help me cut a little more off the edge! (Had to order online due to window size). Great buy if you need them for privacy and not for light filtering.

I actually purchased the wrong size on-line, but the return process was easy at my local Home Depot, and the replacements arrived quickly. The sizing feature allows them to fit perfectly. My opening is right around 29", so the 28.75" option was perfect. Super easy to install, 1 screw for each clip, boom, five minutes, all done! I love these models for the cordless top down/bottom up feature and they are more well made than the cheaper models, so they’ll hold up well over time.

Easy to install and operate!! Very good light filtering

these take about 5 minutes to install. mine arrived with all the end caps already in place. the mounting brackets have double sided tape to hold them in place while putting the screws in. they have a nice slide to put the handle on. there is just one handle for the top down, the bottom has none but there is no need. these are nice for the money. i used drywall screws to install the brackets, which i find easier to use. if you need "cliff note" installation instructions then here you go..longer part of mounting bracket goes parallel to the ceiling, pull the shade down from the top about 5 inches before you hang it, with shade in hands tilt slightly downwards to fit onto bottom of bracket, then tilt shade upwards until you hear it click onto top of mounting bracket...done!

These shades do exactly what I want them to do. The apartment I live in provides mini blinds on the windows, but they don't offer the versatility that these shades do. The window sill is below my waist and these shades give me the privacy I desire, yet still give me a nice view at the same time. Installation was tricky since I rent and could not hang the shades in the traditional manner, but creativity prevailed and now I have a view with privacy. The quality of the construction on these shades help in my quest to hang them securely without damage to the existing windows or walls.

It was easy to hang and looks great in the room. Allows me to see outside and still have privacy.

I bought over 23 of these blinds. After 2 months 2 of them won’t stay in the fully up position. The blind slouches down 3-4inches. It’s a visual problem on the window with three blinds and one isn’t even when fully open. Just annoying and the idea of trying to return it and all is overwhelming. We have a few old top down bottom up levalor in our bedrooms and the quality difference is huge. I wish I just would’ve spend the money for a higher quality product.

i was looking for a blind that opens from the top and bottom to provide options of how i want to let the light in and provides privacy. Plus i needed it to be opaque to block the window's view from my dog who barks at everyone who passes by. i was afraid of making my room too dark but this is perfect and lets the light in! I've only had it up one day so far no issues and super easy to install only took a few minutes. there were extra pieces and i was a bit confused at first but easy peasey! I now bought a second blind for the other widow and looking forward to putting it up.

Easy to assemble. And the overall look is perfect. The option to open from the top down is also a big plus.

We purchased 3/72 in drop down blinds. Two had the same instructions and brackets for installation. The 3rd was incomplete and different brackets. making for a more difficult install. These are made in China resulting in very stilted misspelled instructions. Once up, these are great blinds offering privacy on a large window with the drop down feature. We've purchased many items from this manufacture through the Home Depot and have had excellent service at our local store with cutting to size.

Easy to install and convenient top down draw

I purchased the exterior mount style for bottom up use. The light filters through. If you zoom in you can see the stings and the shade hangs freely from the strings. If the window is open the wind will move the shade. There is a plastic part that you can install on your window and snap the bottom into it so the bottom will not move as much. They recommend you use it on a door. I do not have it installed on the window.

I bought this shade for our bathroom. Being able to pull the shade down from the top provided privacy but did not block out the light. It was exactly what I needed for such a small space. I love that you can have it custom cut for an exact fit for your window. Other reviews said that the shade was not cut properly by not taking some off both sides of the shade so I was nervous about that but maybe all the bad reviews made them fix the issue because mine came cut perfectly and the cords were properly centered. Also all the pieces and parts were in the box. I did have it shipped to the store for pick up just in case since people also complained about poor packaging and missing parts. It was a perfect fit and would definitely recommend.

We bought these to update our last home we recently sold and wished we would have bought them many years ago! When we got into our new build home, we put them on every window and mixed a few of the top down bottom up ones with the standard pull down ones too. They are great at letting light in so it doesn't feel like a cave, yet still private. Very happy with the quality of these blinds and overall how beautiful they look in our home

These were easy to install and the options with the top down design are just what we needed. Easy to operate and look good. Just wish the strings weren't right in the middle - on the sides would have been better.

Shipment was quick and packaging protected the blinds well. All parts were included and installation instructions, though terse, were adequate.These binds were cut exactly to size, with the cut-offs taking equally from both sides. That assured that the cords were properly centered. Installation was easy and the blinds operate smoothly. We installed these on a glass-paned door for privacy, and that is a bit more difficult than installing on a fixed window. That said, installation was less than 30 minutes. The blinds look nice and have provided the privacy we wanted.

The shade is well made and easy to install. I love that you can open it from the top and bottom. The color is a crisp white. very happy with this purchase!

Bracket sticks up too high and the end caps do not fit. Box was open at the end when delivered and hardware was missing. So, pretty much the same complaint as everyone else.

These were so easy to install, 5-10 minutes once you get the hang of measuring where to place the clips and screwing them in. They are perfect mix of privacy and letting all the light into my dark house as possible. It also helps keep the cold and hot outside, when i lift up the shade I can feel the difference

Easy to assemble. Ours was an outside mount. Works perfectly for our bathroom to give privacy when needed. Easy to use as top down, bottom up, or fully open at top or bottom. Only had it for a couple of weeks so cannot comment on durability, but looks pretty sturdy and I don't expect any issues.

I love that these are affordable and open from the top or bottom. We did not have to have them cut. I measured our window at 23" wide and so I ordered 23" wide blinds, and they fit perfectly. They offer plenty of privacy while still allowing in natural light. Yes, they were tedious to put up, but it wasn't that bad and we are not exactly handy people. We thought it was well worth it for the price and quality and only having to install it once. We did take it off and put it back on a couple times because theres a little plastic handle we didn't realize and the clip in for that was on the other side so we put it on backwards at first. We didn't have any issues with it breaking when we put it on and took it off the brackets.
