Great for allowing sunlight within a room but also gives you privacy. I like to keep the shades top-down, as it compliments the features of the windows.

Looks great, works great. Easy to install. Relatively inexpensive.

Great product for the price! We installed a total of 10 of these blinds. They install easily and look great. They served our purpose without having to go to the expense of custom order blinds. The cut to order option worked perfectly for us.

I love the top down bottom up cellular shades. The snowdrift color is great. I was thrilled they could be custom cut in the store to fit some very narrow windows in my old house. They were pretty simple to install and I receive so many compliments about them. My only suggestion is there should be two plastic handles and not one - one for the top and one for the bottom. The bottom part of the shade doesn't have one and it is needed.

I purchased a total of 8 blinds and had some cut to size in store that were was perfect, installation was easy for one person. Top-down, bottom-up options are so much nicer without cords. I only wish they were available with room darkening feature.

I have mixed feelings about the cellular shades from HD. The look is good, especially for the price. However, installation can be a bear. To start, the instructions aren't well illustrated. Quality-wise, here is my beef: The small plastic ridge on the head rail that snaps into the clips is fragile. If you manage to get the head rail in place without breaking it, don't plan to remove the shades without a plan to replace them. I had to remove the blinds to paint my windows... I was extraordinarily careful, but still broke off pieces of the ridge on the head rail at two of the three clips. The one spot that didn't break... the clip broke. With only two clips, I decided to reposition them and reinstall. Again, working very carefully, as I am putting the head rail in place, I hear a snap and see part of the clip fall to the floor. Two broken clips with a value of ~10 cents have rendered the blinds worthless. These cellular shades are a halfway decent product, as long as you're able to install them without something breaking.

End caps would not fit without modification.

Installation was easy, looks fantastic, great value. I was searching for something like it online , would be 3x more in cost. And that would be per shade. I needed 2. So I'm excited I found these.

For the price, you get the practical functionality of being able to pull the top down/bottom up or both -- this is great if you want to see the sky or treetops but don't wish for your neighbors to look in and see you eating, etc. However, as far as the quality of the materials used for this product, I was disappointed for the price as I expected much more. The hardware was very flimsy and weak (blinds for half the price that I purchased at the same time was far more robust and included more brackets for a narrower product). The plastic casing of the blinds themselves also was not reassuring, seems likely it'll break or crack with regular use.

Too difficult to mount. After numerous attempts, I got 2 of the clips to click in but still can't get the 3rd one. Other than that it looks good.

So we purchased 5 of these in different sizes. They installed easily. We like the looks and functionality. They allow more light through than I'd like. The sizing was a problem though. One of them needed to be brought to HD to cut a bit more off (5/16") The employee that cut it cracked the top and bottom rails but said we could get a refund and reorder. I kept that one to have something to cover my window while the other one was shipped. Since the employee at HD said they had problems cutting small amounts (5/16") I'd ordered a larger size. When I brought it back another employee did the cutting. One cut was just fine ( I asked him to cut it slowly since that was suggested by mfg. and the first one was cut very fast) but the 2nd cut broke out a pc on the appearance side of the unit. He said they didn't cut many of these and had problems when they did. I ended up keeping the first. Not happy with the crack but it doesn't show and don't have time for hit and miss cutting tactics. A solution would be for the factory to cut them in 1/8" increments rather than 1/2". 1/2" is not accurate enough. I have another one that I'd like to get an 1/8" cut off of but not willing to take the chance. That one fits but not when you add the snap in ends supplied with the unit which takes up about an 1/8" overall. We'll see how they hold up. It would be nice if they came in darkout too. Also It would be nice if the bottom rail had a plastic clip to grab it like the top rail has.

Very nice shades that brighten my entire living room. I replaced all old blinds on 5 windows. White made entire room brighter and cleaner. Pretty easy to install, directions were ok but could be a little larger to read. Great makeover product to DIY.

3 of the 4 blinds were perfect .. one of the larger blinds did not have the correct end caps. The ones that were sent were too large to snap on and slightly different. The wrong ones may have been in the incorrect box or who ever packed the blinds might have grabbed the incorrect ends. The local HD stores in my area do not carry the same blinds in the store so not sure how I can get the correct end covers. Please advise. Other than this I really like the blinds. Thank you, R

Very happy with the shades, easy to install

Mixed review for these blinds. We've tried two of these for a wide window (59.25" wide blinds), and both times the blind has separated from the rail. We bought the wide version because we really like the narrower versions, which have held up beautifully. I've had three in my office for the last 3 years, and now we have 12 or 13 throughout the house. All are holding up really well. It's just the the wide one, which has now failed twice. <sad face>

Replaced vertical blinds and love how much more light I get in. It was very easy to install, even for this mid70’s woman! I’ve had it up for a couple weeks and so far looks great

I ordered two of these for a room, and the top of one shade kept falling— it is adhered by a sticky plastic panel and would not stay stuck. So I called customer service, returned it and ordered a replacement. Meanwhile the other shade for the other window did the same thing. It is completey disfunctional and a waste of time and money. Cheaply made product. Will be returning again.

Thankfully an employee in the department was available and helpful. The shades were custom cut (width) to fit an interior mount. He also advised me that I could online order the bottom handle for the since they do not have them in the store. A Plus was that the price was reasonable. I installed the shades myself. Not difficult but would have been easier if the directions were printed large enough to see some details. That was a negative. In the end I was happy with the purchase, especially after I spray painted the brackets to match the header that was exposed in my application of the shades. Bought the shades a week ago so time will tell if these shades continue to work...
