The Ultimate Comfort Queen Mattress Pad by Home Decorators Collection caught my eye online. If you have an older mattress like mine, you notice the comfort level start to diminish over the years. Added this to my mattress and instantly noticed a renewed comfort level as if I replaced the mattress. The first night I slept like a baby. The pad is easily attached to the mattress for a snug fit that won't slip off with movement. I haven't washed mine yet but it is fully machine washable. So if you're in the market for a new mattress but are short on cash, I highly suggest you try this pad for a price of under $40.

Even though we have a pillow top mattress, this pad enhanced the cushion (without a sinking feeling) and I'm sleeping better since we put it on. I'm a side sleeper, and my shoulders feel much better.
I found the 16" depth to be very generous for our deep mattress. I'm not sure when the thick mattress wars started, but it is enough to drive you crazy trying to find linens that fit. This one fit just fine with a very good elastic band to help pull the sides under the mattress. The width and height were perfect.
The band, along with the pillow stitching are holding it in place. I'm notorious for twisting linens off. No problems here.
Overall, I can't find a thing wrong and have no negative impressions at all.

The mattress cover goes on easy but is still tight. There is a picture of the corner fit which has not been messed with to make it look perfect. This was the way it went on as is. We had some friends visit that slept on the bed for two weeks and they thought it was not noticeable, comfortable and overall had no wrinkles under the sheet. We have washed it a few times and it has dried without any noticeable shrinking on a cool setting.

Easy to use due to the stretchy/elastic mesh panels on all four sides. The panels allow a good fit for almost every thickness of mattress. Corners fit well and tight, do not shift or pop off. Seams and stitching appear well made. The filling is moderate with comfortable fluffiness but not extra soft or fluffy. If deep soft fill is preferred, I would suggest other pads but this one is comfortable, fits a variety of mattresses well, very good quality in materials and craftsmanship. Machine wash and dry per instructions.

The Ultimate Comfort Queen Mattress Pad from Home Decorators is an excellent product. This is a high quality pad. Its is very soft with a good layer of cushion fill. It fits snuggly on a deep mattress and is unlikely to pull off. The fabric is high quality and machine washable and dryable. This makes a non-pillow mattress softer and more comfortable without adding a bulky mattress topper.

Who would have thought I'd be buying a mattress pad from home depot! I looked at all the traditional shopping options and came across this one. It's perfect! Fit, construction, quality, price...a total winner. We bought a Cal King size.
