To make installation easier, I attached the brackets to a 1X2 board, fastened the board above the window frame with construction adhesive, and then screwed the brackets on the rest of the way. Using this method, it was easier to line the brackets up perfectly and I didn't have to find wall studs or use wall anchors.

70 in. W x 64 in. L
I recently purchased the Home Decorators Collection white cordless 2 in. faux wood blind 70 in. W x 64 in. L. However, the actual size of the blinds are 69.5 in. W x 64 in. L. You should order 0.5 in. more in width to get your actual dimensions. The length of the blinds are the same. I am giving this review 4 stars because this size in the blinds were out of stock for a while. I checked the website each day for weeks and nothing changed. I called The Home Depot and the Home Decorators Collection multiple times to find out when this size would be back in stock. During one of the calls with Home Depot Costumer Service, I was put on hold for over 45 minutes and never heard back from them. A few weeks later, I happened to check the Home Depot’s website and this size for the blinds were available to buy either to be shipped to my local store or bought online. The mounting hardware, valence, wand, and blinds were included in the box. The installation of these blinds was easy. The quality is very good, price is reasonable, and look great! Great way to update your home while not spending a fortune.
Easy to install. Looks great. I’ve ordered 4 so far....

Search is over... :)
I had faux white wood blinds up for years. I loved them. But after 20yrs, we put in new windows. When I took my old ones down they had turned yellow. I searched everywhere for the same set up (as the original place I got them from no longer carried them) the new windows were not as deep so I didnt think 2" blinds would work so I purchased the cheaper 1" vinyl ones. I put them up on 3 windows and desided to go on the hunt as the faux wood blinds give a more of an elegant look. After purchasing 2 different blinds from 2 different places and returning them because the hardware it self made no sense. (I could just see that it was going to be a problem as I've put up many blinds in the past for family and friends) I Finally decided to try homedepot even thought I do shop the competitor. The hardware was just what I was looking for. I love the fact that the brackets are white and not silver. Was very easy to install. Took me 14min a window from start to finish. Top sticks out a little not flush but I did expect that as my windows arent as deep. I never had a valance before. (Gave it the finishing touch even though I did put curtains up) I gave this 4 stars (would have given 4.5) but I do miss the string. With out the string if it needs to be adjusted you have to reset (push all the way up then pull back down)
Overall its day 5 with them and I'm pleased. And yes, those 1" vinyl blinds went back....
We recently got these blinds and I am really enjoying them. I can’t speak to installation because my husband did that, but it seemed pretty easy for him. I really like the wide, faux wood slats. We are originally got the 64 inch length and I didn’t think the extra length would be a big deal, but it ended up looking ridiculous because it was a really thick chunk of blinds that went un-used. We swapped it out for the 36 and it’s much better!
