I got this floor 3yrs ago for my living room....
I got this floor 3yrs ago for my living room. But my family and hallway did not get replaced. It took me another two years to replace them and hood thing about it is it was still available unlike some floors, after a certain time, they are faced out already. I highly recommend this brand.

My story
Disappointing. Almost all the long piece were warped coming out of the box. Used two humidifiers to get the room well below 50%. Little or no change in the boards after 4 days in
low humidity. The floating installation would not work for our room with warped boards. Very little information in the instructions on using glue. Called Tech support. When asked about the warp boards they said I should get a tool to read the moisture in the boards. Tech support will tell what you what you can and cannot have in the glue. Will not recommend a brand. The packaging of the product is poorly designed. I founded damaged boards. Very frustrating.

The quality is ok. I have installed around 1000 sq. ft. in my house in 2020 and 2021. It is very easy to cut and install. As of now we did not have any issues with the flooring.

Easy install and looks much better than vinyl or laminate. There are visible seams between the boards side by side when connected, but none running on the long side of the boards. Would recommend underlayment as well. Very happy with the product overall.

Gunstock Oak Home Legend
I have Home Legend products all throughout the house in Gunstock Oak. The color of my current flooring is identical to the flooring picture in the Home Depot internet order print. The floor that was sent to me is a medium to dark brown with no reddish color at all. About 5 shades darker brown than my other Gunstock Oak Home Legend Flooring. Appears to be warped on a number of planks because it is not 3/8 inch it is 1/4 inch and that makes a huge difference.
This is not suitable for floating floor installation. Cant return 11 boxes due to weight.
I have spent well over 50,000 with HD over the years and am extremely disappointed.

I needed flooring and this was relatively cheap at 1.96...
I needed flooring and this was relatively cheap at 1.96 sqft so I can’t complain, it looks great and was easy to lay. It does scratch easy and I don’t even have pets. I moved a chair over just a bit and it left a scratch. I felt underneath the chair to make sure it wasn’t ruff and it wasn’t. The floors are just easy to damage. I can see upgrading to something more durable within a few years but for now they will do. FYI don’t make the mistake I did by purchasing a large amount.. if you have a small area this is a great affordable option.

Overall, it has a good appearance. There is a waxy coating on the joints that gets on the surface and has to be cleaned off. Also, score the top side of the board from edge to edge before you make a cut on the cut line or the wood will splinter off. Lays quickly if you lay out 3-4 rows beforehand to eliminate pattern repeats.
