It took a little practice but worked well and made the edging faster.

The quick painter was better than I imagine. I needed to paint around interior walls and ceilings. I didn’t need to tape or cut. Well worth the money.

I haven't tried it yet, it is for a new home in building.

I’d honestly get the $3 edge trimmer with rollers versus this thing. Once you get the hang of how much the trigger releases, it isn’t bad but the “edgers” still don’t protect trim or your ceiling from getting paint on them. The only thing convienent about this was not constantly reload. Messy.

Made such a mess took me more time to clean the mess than use the tool gave up very quickly and used a brush instead

Used one several years ago to paint my entire house exterior. Great when you are on a ladder and need to cover a lot of space without having to go up and down to fill the brush or roller

Use this tool to apply paint to the surface and immediately follow up with a good brush to even the paint out. Saves time as a paint applicator (don't have to dip your brush in a can etc...). Cover the end in a zip lock bag with tape, throw in the fridge, and it's ready to use tomorrow. Been using these for years and absolutely love it! (Again, not a finish painting tool...applicator only!)

When I purchased this item I thought it would save me a great deal of time. Boy was I wrong. The release mechanism didn't work and the paint would not hold in the handle, it just flowed right out and made a huge mess. I ended up just tossing this item.

I liked this tool. It sped up the process. The only con is that you have to order extra supplies and it's a little hard to figure out how to take apart to clean. You really have to dig in with a screwdriver - don't try with your fingers to take apart.

Terrible, terrible, ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE product masked as a time saver and innovative new tool. Boo! What a colossal waste of time, money and sanity! After following every single one of the manufacturers instructions to a "T" I expected a neat device that would help me paint more successfully than just "winging it" by thinking a steady hand and an appropriate quality paint

I used this to paint my mom's living room & hallways with multiple doorways. This saved so much time! I would have never finished the job had it not been for this tool. Completely sped up my time!!!!! Would definitely recommend! Need to buy more pads for the next painting job!!!!!

I hate doing prep work (taping) and I really hate to do trim work without taping. This device solved my problems. It took a short period to get used to the trigger. It requires a very short touch or too much paint comes out very quickly, but if you pay attention and have half a brain, you quickly learn to manage it. It saved me so much time and really did a great job!

this product worked very well. I did have one problem and that was with the replacement pads I ordered for this product. The first replacement pad I put on fell apart right away. I feel the pads should last a little longer than that. Otherwise everything worked as expected or better than expected.

I found this edger to be way too sensitive and it glopped paint all over. I agree with the other reviewer that I spent more time wiping up drips than edging. It worked around the edge of my picture window, but for the ceiling it was a MESS. Using a brush took way more time, but maybe that's just the way it is!

Conceptually, this is great, however it doesn't work. Paint coverage was poor at the edge which is where it is needed most. Had high hopes and was disappointed.

Find an area to test out the edger to get the feel for how it spreads the paint. Once you have the technique start saving time, I got really great results. When fully loaded the trigger only needs a quick touch, as the plunger goes down the spring is not as strong and the trigger need more time. Err on the side of too little paint rather than a squirt gun! Only responsible tenagers should be trusted with this. Easy to clean. Great buy. Would have preferred a clauk gun action to a spring.
