Totally adorable....totally damaged. After wait weeks for this to arrive, I took it out of the box to assemble it. Easy instructions. Easy assembly. As I was putting it together I noticed cracks...even what appears to be pen mark on the trunk of the tree. I am so disappointed. Totally not worth $31!

I bought this to keep all the dress up clothes on one place. My 3 year old daughter can reach her dresses with ease and it is sturdy so I don't need to worry about tipping. Very easy to assemble.
If you have little kids in your life that are begging for a pink coat rack, this will do... otherwise, don't buy this. The coat rack itself is very easy to assemble and does not require any tools. However, the fit is less than perfect with a visible gap at each peg. And the rack is not very heavy, so if the kids don't hang their coats evenly, it will quickly tumble. Also, the lower pegs are only about 2 ft off the ground.
The quality is substandard. Every part has either a crack in the wood or some blemish. The hole, for the center pole, in the bottom “foot” is off center and at an angle. This causes the entire tree to lean to one side; A LOT. Also, there are gaps between the pole and the “hooks”; these should fit better. See attached pictures.
I was able to assemble this without instructions which was a good thing because the assembly instructions have each part labeled with a letter; there are no coordinating letters on the actual parts.
I ordered the coat rack for my 4th grade classroom for my students' hats. I opened the box and had a couple of 4th grade students follow the instructions to set it up. It was a good problem solving activity for them. They had it assembled in 10 minutes. It's perfect for their hats. The higher pegs are good for light jackets or sweaters, but the bottom ones are too low. The lower ones may be good for toddlers to put things on it. It is light enough so that if it falls over, it wouldn't hurt anyone.
MegaHome designed an easily assembled 8 hook kid’s coat rack. It was like putting together a puzzle. Assembles in less than 30 minutes. Just be sure you look at the enclosed parts sheet and go directly by the assembly instructions. The white wood finish blends in with any décor. The rack is a perfect height for smaller children with dimensions of 50 inches high, 15 inches deep, 15 inches wide. The pegs hold the coats very easily and my granddaughters had lots of fun hanging their coats. Hopefully this is a good lesson for them in organization and repetitive coat hanging.
