The Rectangular Collapsible Hamper with Lid can be used as ones regular hamper, dorm room hamper, guest hamper, or a spare in the wash room. The sides are sturdy cloth wrapped and it seals with Velcro. The ability to carry to the washer with clothing is nice, the hamper can be folded to return to the original room where you are using it. I am thinking of getting one per person in my home.

Pros Durable, Easy to Assemble, Functional, Good Size & Weight, Great Instructions, High Quality of Material, Looks Great, Looks High End, Nice Design, Sturdy, Well Made

I thought it was quite flimsy, but it served the purpose. I definitely would not use it regularly. It is handy because it folds, but if you put wet towels in it, move them quickly to the washer...

My son graduated from college last year and moved back home. I told him throwing his dirty laundry on the floor may have worked in college but not back home so this hamper did the trick and he is now able to place his dirty laundry in the hamper and close the lid, thus avoiding a war with his mother. When not in use he can pull up the floor of the hamper and it folds flat. Very practical item to have. When his sister turns from her military career next year I may get one for her too.

  • Good Dorm Room Hamper

The Rectangular Collapsible Hamper with Lid would probably be perfect for a dorm room. On the plus side it is light-weight and collapsible, which affords a person flexibility for placement. It is a neutral color and fabric so it will probably fit different decorating styles. On the flip side it is smaller than it looked but that is my fault for not checking the dimensions. The "lid" is attached which is both good and bad because as it fills up the lid doesn't close properly. Bottom-line, it is a hamper, may work for a lot of people.

  • Great for storing laundry

The quality of this hamper is ideal for a laundry bag. Its not too great and not too flimsy. The lid closes with a Velcro but it does not seal the sides, so if you overload this it may not close well. I used this to store my baby's laundry and this works well for me. I did not observe any odor outside even when the hamper was full. The hamper also folds flat for easy storage in case you need space or are traveling.

I purchased 2 of these collapsible hamlets (one for darks/ one for lights). I just moved into a townhouse and the laundry closet only has run for the washer and dryer. I have these sitting outside of the laundry closer doors at the top of the stairs/ hallway and they do not stand out. My only concern is that because of the canvas will it hold any odor? I do not let dirty laundry sit for more than a day so I'm hoping this won't be a problem. I cab always add stick on air fresheners inside if need be. I only moved in a week ago, so far so good and it solved the problem.
