Does a good job of dehumidifying in a small room and is quiet. Power cord, however, is quite short. I empty into the sump hole and the hose provided is flimsy and hard to straighten out.

The length of the continuous drain tube is measured scientifically, keeping in mind the amount of water it can drain using the force of gravity and we do not recommend lengthening it. Simple to operate, removes the advertised 30 pints an is fairly quite as it operates. I bought 1 of these for an approximately 1100 sq. ft. apartment as this was the recommended size (covers 1500 sq. ft.). I found one of these was inadequate and purchase a 2nd Honeywell dehumidifier. I'm not sure how the size of dehumidifier is determined. I would say the sizing chart needs to be updated. A single 60 pint or 2, 30 pint dehumidifiers are needed for my place. Ground Floor (Panama City Beach).

This dehumidifier totally meets my expectations. I have had this product for two weeks. It keeps the level of humidity very comfortable in my bedroom throughout the day and night. I love how it beeps and pauses to alert when to empty the water container if you choose not to use the continuous drainage feature. The energy consumption is low since it is an energy star product. I highly recommend this dehumidifier.

I should have bought this long ago. It seems very well made, works fine. In Florida, when outdoor and indoor temperatures are similar and the A/C doesn't run, it can get muggy inside. When I first turned this on it removed about a quart of water every couple of hours and humidity levels were quite comfortable after a few hours of running. Now I just turn it on every day or two to maintain the humidity levels.

A slightly larger bucket would be nice, and I imagine the 7-pint bucket would be really annoying on the next larger model; I often have to empty it three times a day on this one. But it's obviously working, and it's not excessively noisy. Just hoping it lasts for a while.

The fan continues to run till there is an additional drop of 5% in the humidity level. If you’re looking for something that will run continuously, this isn’t for you. The bucket is so small I could literally empty it 5 times a day. As it is now I empty it in the morning before work, kids empty during the day, and I empty at night after work. Really wish it held more. Otherwise, it runs well

Switch the unit OFF and carefully remove the filter from the unit and clean.
