Searched for a Honeywell Lyric water leak and freeze detector. Found it on Homedepot.com I thought. Ordered 2.
Got something that says Resideo not Honeywell. is it the same device? No way to tell. Seems Honeywell spun off a division and named it Resideo.
Still is it the same product just rebranded? I would say false advertising by Home Depot.
I think I need to returnm these and ask for what I ordered and was displayed on the web site. Or these should be free.
Not happy with Home Depot. I know nothing about Resideo but I do see a lot of issues with this device.

This is a really good product. It works as expected,
I'm so happy I purchased this sensor. 3 days after installing it, my hot water tank released a whole bunch of water, which flooded my utility room. I would have never known about it because I rarely go downstairs. I received a notification on my phone and the alarm on the sensor alerted me right away. It saved my flooring and walls!
Using as temperature sensor at remote location; not using water leak functionality. Works as advertised. Easy set up.
Only confusing part is how to interpret the graph over time of temperature. There are *two* series plotted on the graph, and I expect only *one*: the temperature at the time it’s taken (I have it set to record every 8 hours). Nowhere in the documentation is this explained why there are two curves plotted on the temperature graph.
This product is great if it works! I have a mesh Orbi system and the WiFi signal is strong where I have placed the detector. I have configured the unit with 2.4G WiFi and have denied access to the 5G WiFi. So the only connection is 2.4G.
Sometime multiple times per day and sometime once in a few days I get a notification of "Device offline detected'! While checking my router and my WiFi, I can see that nothing has changed and everything else connected to my WiFi works without any problems.
I have attached the last three (3) screen images of the recent activity log shown by the app!
It is very frustrating that I can't find out what the cause and the remedy is!
