THE TEMPERATURE SETTING IS 15-18 DEGREES OFF. I WILL RETURN IT AND SEE IF THE NEXT ONE WILL WORK.

new to us purchased oct /17

This is one awful product. It seems to last for just one season which is 5 months. For the past 5 years I have tried to use this product and each time after 2 months the unit no longer functions properly. It just keeps turning the light on even when the house is 60 degrees and the dial is set for 40 degrees. Looking for better product getting tired of this. The customer service at Home Depot does not even seem to be helpful. They have a 90 day return policy and it's several months past the 90 days when the unit starts not working properly. No one seems to want to help with this product .
