Honeywell always provides the best option for odor-reducing filters. A new apt neighbor turned out to be a heavy smoker, polluting my apt. I already had a Honeywell air purifier but it was not in use .. needed filters. Home Depot had the charcoal filter, but not the HEPA type.

Hopefully this filter was a fluke but unlike previous filters purchased, this one had some areas which seemed extra thin. I guess that I will just vacuum the old one as odor removal is not an issue.

I brought this item to replace my permanent pre-filter which was getting old and this one leaves a strange odor when it's on. I prefer to order a new permanent pre-filter which leaves a clean scent when it's helping clear other odors such as from cooking or 2nd/3rd hand cigarette smoke coming in from neighbors.

I'm very allergic to items found in our local air like dust, pollen, & mold. By changing the pre-filters every three months on my Honeywell air purifier, the air is breathable for me. I don't suffer as much.

The silver order reducing specs have been reduced so much that filter is ineffective. previous versions were very effective and i would have given 5 stars. Do not waste your money.

I bought this for my air purifier, I thought I had bought the wrong one all along because even though its the same size it is not as thick as the one that came with the air purifier, even though the model number matched. It's almost like they give you a real good one when you get the product and then when you go to buy replacement parts they give you JunK. the only reason I would recommend it, is because there we're no better choices

I bought this air purifier because my granddaughter has allergies. It seems to help. it blows a good amount of clean air out. So far no problems with it. I also purchased the odor reducing filter because there is a smoker in the house, i really cannot tell if it is getting rid of the smoke odor or not. I run the unit 24 hours a day and have had it probably about a month. i have not had to clean the unit of change the filter yet.

This product works exactly as advertised. Removes odors and provides a clean fresh smell in the air.

I replaced the pre-filter and HEPA filter as a set. Though a little pricey for the change-out (around $50), I immediately noticed the difference in air quality in my bedroom. Having three pets in the house and allergies galore, I really couldn't live without the unit and these filters are the heart of what gives me clean, fresh air. Well worth the money to replace them!!!

This is our second Honeywell and I like ti the best of the two. It is compact, helps with allergies, doesn't make a lot of noise (medium speed) and makes the air smell fresh. Plus it doesn't take up much room. We only turn it on high when we are away for a day or longer.
