Awesome Z-Wave Thermostat
I purchased two of these and have them tied to my security system. I can control them both from my phone, the alarm panel, the web and the actual thermostats themselves.
If you aren't familiar with Z-Wave recognize that you do need to have additional controllers if you want to fully utilize all the features available.
Even as a stand alone thermostat this thing is amazing. I love Honeywell thermostats!

Excellent and Easy
I purchased this to connect to my Honeywell Smart Home Security system and it rocks. I have a 4 wire bus from my air handler to my thermostat location and it worked great and was easy to install with the wire saver module provided. I have linked it with the zwave technology to my Honeywell Tuxedo Home Controller and now my thermostat knows what to do when I arrive home or leave. I would recommend this to any and all. Excellent product, Excellent functionality, and Easy to install.

Great Thermostats (I have two.)
I have not configured these onto a Z-Wave network yet so I can't speak to that feature. But the installation, programing, look and feel and functionality all seem great. The documentation was lacking a bit in the programming area but I was able to find some doc on Honeywell's site

Good product but not what I thought
The unit itself is fine - programming is relatively easy to follow. Only problem is that (and this is my fault) I thought that I would be able to program it remotely, rather than punching it out on the screen, but it seems that I need to have other Z-wave hardware/software that I don't have in order to do that.

Does not connect to outside world as advertised...
You must buy other stuff to " remotely manage their home's temperature and save money by reducing energy consumption" Maybe a good thermostat, but it is not an internet thermostat as it stands. You can spend less and get more.

Honeywell has finally perfected a long term digital-
Great upgrade. I have been installing makes of thermostats for 25 years. Honeywell has finally perfected a long life digital t-stat. Maybe it will work like the old round T-87f(40 years) until they re-engineered it in the 90's to a weaker version.
