This tive only has 1 big eye on rhe right front. The oven will not heat to the desired temperature. I know this because I used 2 different thermometer to check it. The eyes on the stove will not hold heat. After being on high fir several minutes to boil water the eyes shut off. You have to turn the eye completely off for it to work again....If yiu turn the eye down while cooking for exp. 7 to 5 it will not turn back up to 7. You have to turn the eye off and then turn it to 7. This takes forever to cook your food. You would think a basic stove would just work without all this aggervation.

Hi there, thanks for reaching out. We're sorry to hear of your frustration due to your burners and your oven temperature. Starting in 2018, UL regulation requires all coil top ranges to have temperature limiting capabilities to reduce the risk of cooktop oil and grease fires. As a result, our electric coil burners now use Sensi-Temp Technology. Each burner with this technology has a silver medallion with a button (sensor) in the center of the coil. This button must contact the bottom of the cookware for the Sensi-Temp Technology to sense the temperature properly. When the sensor detects a pan temperature near the limit (450F), the burner will shut off automatically until a lower, safe pan temperature is reached. At that point, heat will resume to the burner. This will not affect everyday cooking, as automatic shut-off is temporary and only happens at very high temperatures. - You can read more about Sensi-Temp by searching for the following title on our website "ELECTRIC RANGE AND COOKTOP - COIL BURNER SENSI-TEMP TECHNOLOGY." - As for your oven temperature, take a look at an article titled "OVEN - TEMPERATURE IS NOT CORRECT" to see if the tips inside help. Hope you're staying safe. Best wishes. -Michael@GEA GE_Appliances

Convenient stove
We bought this stove back in December and it’s done the job. Only struggle is not having it warm up to correct temperatures as needed.

Hello- We are glad to hear your oven is meeting your needs but sorry about the temperature not heating to the correct temperatures. Refer to page 13 in your manual to view how to adjust the temperature. https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-88075-3.PDF After adjusting the temperature, we recommend the biscuit bake test. You can view the test in the link below: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=16653 If you feel there is an issue, please reach out to GE Consumer Service at 1-800-432-2737. Thank you! Joyce@Hotpoint
It’s good, but I would prefer the flat top.
I got mine with my new house and it’s good. The oven functions very well. I may recommend it to a friend.

Great value for the price!
It’s great for the price! Though I miss having a clock and an inside oven light I’ve gotten used to not having it. It’s a nice, functional oven and it cooks great!

Hello - "Crackling," "popping," or "oil canning" sounds are caused by the heating and cooling of the metal during the cooking or cleaning processes and are considered normal. We hope this helps. Olga@GEA GE_Appliances
Not Enough Burners
I was looking for a simple range that didn't require me to choose 8 different controls every time I wanted to bake something. Once I received the range, I was so disappointed. It had 3 small burners and 1 large. An example of what it won't do: spaghetti. Can't have my big fry pan making sauce while I'm cooking noodles with my big pot. Everything else on this range is perfect. And it doesn't make sense. There is plenty of room for another large burner -- why put in 3 small??
