This is a good solution for a drying rack that's out of the way and takes up virtually no space when it's not being used. I've had it's bigger brother (the Leifheit Telefix 100) for just over 2 years now, and it's still holding up great. This smaller one was perfect for the narrower spot close to the dryer, and folds up to an even more compact stowed configuration. The best part is I no longer have to wrestle a full size free-standing drying rack out of a tight closet! Installation was pretty easy, and I did it by myself with no helpers (I'm fairly handy in the DIY arena though). The retracting mechanism is well designed and easy to deploy/stow if you're using two hands. The rack seems to be fairly sturdy and doesn't deflect much when loaded. I have a few design complaints though. The mounting holes are not located at a multiple of 16". This smaller Telefix 70 has the two mounting holes spaced at 24.5", so you'll only be able to hit one stud with it. I used an EZ-Anchor for the side not on a stud, since it gives a stronger attachment point than the standard cheap drywall anchors which were included with the kit. The whole thing is made almost entirely out of ABS plastic, with the exception of the powder coated steel lines and the aluminum rod at the base. I would have liked to see some metal reinforcement around the mounting points and the articulated retracting mechanism, but then again my full size one has held up for two years so far with no signs of wear. Lastly, the price is a little high for the smaller Leifheit Telefix 70, which is almost the same I paid for the bigger version. But then again I'm not aware of anything else on the market that folds up so compactly and still offers a ton of drying space.

Trying to get it attached to the wall was a challenge, The holes should have been placed in a more convenient place . Two hands are not enough for this simple project. For the price it could have been a bit bigger, the telescope is a nice feature.

This is the second laundry dryer I’ve purchased. The rack is easy to install and folds flat against the wall for storage. The structure and bars are reasonably sturdy and easily hold damp socks, underwear and the like. Probably not suitable for multiple wet towels. Good value for light duty.

Easy to assemble and great for the price. Stores back toward the wall and out of sight. Was going to purchase one of those rectangular painted wood ones that open up from the wall on an angle that so popular right now but the prices on those are ridiculous. This is well worth the money and as effective.
