Put this in the bedroom. Love how quiet it is.

I gave my Hunter Newsome 52 in. ceiling fan in the 'Fresh White' color an average rating for the following reasons. On the plus side, the fan is very quiet, nicely priced and attractive. The 'Fresh White' color is a flat, matte white color which blends well with my old bedroom walls. On the negative side, the 'fit and finish' was poor. The fan 'down rod' did not screw completely into the fan motor housing and left several rows of bare metal threads exposed against the white motor housing. This color discrepancy was very noticeable and unattractive. I called Hunter customer service and the rep was aware of this problem. Hunter then sent me a replacement 'down rod' which, once again, did not screw entirely into the fan motor housing. I decided to use some white touch-up paint to cover the bare metal threads. Obviously, Hunter has a quality control problem.

Fan is very quiet.

just bought a few days ago, so far we are happy with the way if performs. was easy to install.
