Light a little dim - but I will find brighter bulbs
It's super elegant and SO SO QUIET! The main feature I was looking for was QUIET and I have that. The light is a bit dim so I put a couple of lamps in my room. I am going to research brighter bulbs for this though. I JUST LOVE IT!!! The REMOTE is heaven also! Look at the picture...isn't SHE A BEAUTY! Yes, it's a she...lol

Very happy with the purchase of this fan
Installed in the center of a screened in porch (16’ x 24’) with an 18” down rod. We use it mostly in the daytime, so we weren’t concerned about reviews stating the light was not too bright. That said, we find that the light is adequate for nighttime use. The remote is great. We had no way to easily wire a fan to a switch.
Installation was pretty straight forward. I’ve installed several fans in the past so nothing new to me. It moves plenty of air.
It’s only been installed for a few weeks. We’ll see how well it works after weathering a cold winter.

This ceiling fan is attractive with an industrial vibe. Easy to use with remote control. I had it professionally installed and the installer did not have any issues with the installation. I bought two of these fans, one on each end of my patio. Good value for the money.

Fan works but not compatable with Simpleconnect.
Fan installtion took about an hour. Hardest part was installing the blue receiver in the housing. Make sure you don’t have a lot of extra wire in the connection box. The extra wire gets in the way of the receiver. Fan is quiet, light is a bit dim since the light cover is not clear. You will need higher lumen bulbs for a large area. Simpleconnect is mentioned on the box, yet does not work with this fan. I was a bit surprised when it did not work. See photo on box with advertisement. Contacted Hunter and they confirmed Simpleconnect only works with select fans. I bought the fan to connect to the app and Alexa. Fan installed and we did not like the style of fans that were Simpleconnect compatable, so we decided to live with it. Remote is just OK, nothing remarkable about it. As mentioned in other reviews, changing bulbs or fan direction is a bit tricky by yourself when you reinstall the globe. Recommend this fan only if you want one that works via remote.

Great outdoor fan
Needed a replacement fan for my back porch just to move some air around. This is one of the better looking outdoor fans. The construction is really good. The motor is quiet. We'll see how long it holds up outside, but seems like it should last a long time. It doesn't put out a lot of air outdoors, but just enough.
I've installed a lot of fans but this is my first hunter. Assembly and install took longer than any other fan but it wasn't bad. One fan blade screw was messed up, but thankfully they included a few extra screws. This is a remote control fan and the remote wouldn't work, even tried pairing. Hard to troubleshoot these remote fans if you can't turn it on. I was frustrated. I replaced the battery and still nothing. I wired the fan straight to the switch, bypassing the remote box and the fan worked. I unwired and rewired the control box the same way and it started working. Not sure what the issue was.
*Side note if you are a smart home diy person, this fan control uses the odd 434mhz remote vs 433mhz if you're making your own control setup.

Not Built To Last
We purchased this fan for our new home in 2017. It was a beautiful rustic fan that added to our decor. However, our home was prewired for a ceiling fan and with this being remote only operated, the remote could not be bypassed. The fan could only run on the highest setting. Last month, the fan started making a loud grinding sound and stopped working. We have much cheaper fans that we run more often in other areas of the house and they are still going. For the price, I’m disappointed that this fan has already stopped working. Will not buy another one.
