Purchased this for our living room, overall this is a great fan with one significant flaw. I rated this fan 4 out of 5 stars - "Good". Installation was straight forward, it is very quiet and performs as expected. However, it suffers from the same significant flaw as most other ceiling fans with lights/light kits - extremely poor light output. I don't understand why this has to be the case , particularly with the plethora of LED options available to manufacturers today.

I’ve always purchased Hunter brand fans but this one is the best yet. Love that it has a remote, it was easy to wire up without fatigue with the easy install bracket and its poweful at high speed! Very happy with my purchase

I bought this fan on sale. Excellent value for the money. This fan is super quiet, easy to assemble and even comes with a remote that has multiple functions. Great quality and a modern design that works with most any decor.

Easy to assemble and runs very quietly. Love the snap on blades. Makes it easy to change for a different look. It looks great, too.

Unit was relatively easy to install and runs quietly and smoothly. The remote works as instructed, though the light dimming function operates slower than if you had a physical wall switch to control it. More significantly: if you have two wall switches with two wires leading to the ceiling box, BE AWARE that those two wall switches must NOT be dimmer switches themselves, and that the switch leading to the FAN switch must be on in order for the LIGHT to work (!)

Unit was relatively easy to install (snap-in-place blades avoid 15 screws), and runs quietly and smoothly. The remote works as instructed, though the light dimming function operates slower than if you had a physical wall switch to control it. The remote has a caddy, but still, it is small and easily misplaced. More significantly: if you have two wall switches with two wires leading to the ceiling box, BE AWARE that those two wall switches must NOT be dimmer switches themselves, and that the switch leading to the FAN switch must be on in order for the LIGHT to work (!) This odd result comes from the way the Channing is wired, internally, because by design it RELIES on the remote to control all functions. I learned these things because the Channing was replacing a very old unit (no remote control) that was controlled by a 3-position wall switch for the fan, and a dimmer in the wall for the light. Those "adjustable" wall controls had to be replaced with binary (on/off) switches for the Channing to work correctly. I chose to tape both my on/off switches in the on position. That way, power will always be provided to the Channing now, but I'll be able to easily cut off power to it if I ever need to remove it. This state of affairs was not clear at all from the instructions.

Great looking fan, cools my living room and the light is very bright but that’s adjustable. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

I was buying Hunter for so many years, and I bouth this new style. They so beat, the motor is so silent, easy to assembly and they look so electric. I am so happy with my selection , I don't change Hunter for any other brand.

We had two installed today and they look absolutely fabulous. And they are doing a great job cooling down an excessively hot room. Love the remote and the ability to control everything with it. This fan is a lazy person’s bff. Not sure abt the complaints about the beeping. I actually appreciate the beeping confirmation - that way I know its changing directions. And the beep is not loud. Lol

any review complaining about the beeping noise... one the beeping noise is super low. Two the beeping can be disabled now via remote (back in 2018 or so that may have not been the case but now it is) they aren't lying when they say 90% less parts. I would recommend this. if you like bright light/outside light then get a different led and make sure it's dimmable.will update this review later if things change as I just installed this today

This fan is beautiful moves air so smoothly. Attaching the light shade was the easiest in the industry. Plug in cord, push and twist locks in place-no screws to fight with. The blades slip in place no screws. The blade irons are already attached. The most astonishing thing is it has a remote that let's you reverse fan, dim lights and if you have 2 switchs it allows the light to be controlled by remote or switch. This makes it easy to never have to walk in a dark room. This fan is game changing.

Replaced a 20 year old fan with this model and really made a difference in the room. Had it installed professionally so I can’t say if it’s easy or hard. It took him 15 minutes. It’s quiet and bright.

It's an excellent fan

Mounting the fan was quick. I wired it according to the instructions then went to turn it on but nothing. I checked and recheck the wires but nothing worked. Sometimes it came on and flickered. The next day I decided I will take it down and started to undo the wiring but before that I read the reviews and some mentioned to connect the blue with the black to the hot wire. I tried that but nothing then I switched my dimmer switch with a regular one and it worked!

I am very pleased with this fan in every way! First, the price was a nice surprise for a Hunter 54" fan. Second, this was the easiest installation of any fan I put up. Quiet, all I hear is the air, and everything seems good. I just put it up today so we will see. Being a Hunter I trust it will preform well.

Love the nickel finish, love the clean look that being said the light is terrible and useless. The remote does not work well either. We are actually uninstalling it as the light is just that bad.

We purchased this fan based on previous reviewers saying that it is compatible with the Bond Hub. Our version has a remote with a new FCC ID on it, which is not compatible. Bond might release an update in the future, but for now, this fan is going back. Positives are that the fan is quiet and easy to install. Downsides are that the light is very dim and it shines upwards through the moving fan blades, creating some shadows in the ceiling that make me dizzy. The remote is inconsistent, sometimes I need to single tap buttons and other times I need to press & hold. The speed up and speed down buttons make no perceivable change in fan rotation speed. The box claims the LED lights are dimmable, but the bulbs it comes with don't support dimming.

I hooked up the fan only! Its so nice! I would buy again?

The install was easy, the remote works well and we were able to reuse the existing separate wall switch to control the light. We were able to reuse the 2ft down rod from the old fan (as well as the tea stained globe). Great value at this price point.

This fan was easy to install, very nice fan and quiet. Love it!

This fan was super easy to install. The instructions were very clear including pictures. It helped to watch the home depot installation video prior to purchase as well. The snap on blades and smart click light installation made things so easy. It is quiet while running and switching speeds. The light dimming / fan speeds on the remote make it so easy to use. No more jumping on the bed to pull strings or pay tons in electrician labor costs to install a 3 way light switch. Installed it on my own using a 12" drown rod since my ceiling is vaulted. Would buy again if needed.

The beep people complained about is much quieter now and can be enabled/disabled from the remote (see attached photo). Remote was slightly dodgey, but not too bad (sometimes it seemed to ignore commands for a few seconds). Install was ok. They push on blades are fine, just rock them when squeezing onto the pins. Expected the nut that holds the glass light bowl to be in the baggie with the other hardware, spent 5 minutes looking before finally looking up at fan and seeing they threaded it on the bolt.

This fan is so sleek and classy. It really cools the family room.

Was up for about 5 months and fell while in operation onto the bed with me in it. Luckily I have only one scrape but it could have killed my dogs or seriously hurt me. I had an electrician install it to avoid any mishaps, but here we are. It was beautiful and worked well until it didn't. I wonder if there might be a defect in the mounting system.

Bought one of these a little over a year ago in my old house, after we moved, decided to pick a second one up for the new house. Install really is pretty simple compared to other brands. Took longer to disassemble the old fan than to replace with this one. Units are incredibly quiet, remote is very responsive which is good. Also like how much easier installing blades works on these units. Install probably took me about an hour, and a bulk of that time was disassembling an old harbor breeze model.

It’s no good, I had an electrician look it up, I’m afraid it will burn the house down it shuts off by it’s self, And comes back on by itself within 30 minutes to an hour. So it’s awful
