Nothing special, just a fan.

Runs beautifully!

The volume of air the fan moves is disappointing. On the highest speed you can feel it. I did not realize there would not be manual controls (pull cords) for the light kit and or the fan motor. It is solely operated by the remote control.

Love it. Clean style and quiet!

I didn’t like the fact that there isn’t an off and on pull chain. If the remote is lost then you’re out of luck until it’s replaced.

Beautiful fans. A tip if you have problems with the remote. Call the manufacturer’s number. They helped me reset the remote so that the dimmer feature worked.

Everything as expected. Pretty easy to install.

The fan itself was well made, but Home Depot has the description wrong. This is NOT an LED light kit. It is two standard lightbulb sockets. And instead of a very uniform light, it has two hot spots under the frosted glass.

Fan is very quiet, not much wobble. Light is not bright enough, wondering if I can install larger light bulbs

This is really a beautiful fan! You pay for what you get. The blades are also wood. I was hoping they wouldn't be plastic and they weren't. I would recommend to friends.

Nice fan but Hunters always seem to be. Not the same quality I am used to however. But the motor is quiet as a mouse and it is up on the ceiling so I am not going to complain about what I perceive as lower quality. Probably just the appearance of the one I chose.

Very nice fans. Do not push as much air as I was hoping for but work real well. Remote is a bit strange and looks and feels very cheap, but works.

I bought this fan to replace the fan in my sunroom. The fan is well constructed and not having chains attached to the fan itself (it comes with a remote control that is required to operate the fan) is an added bonus.

Took about 2 1/2 hrs to install. Instructions were good. Pros: Quiet and balanced right out of the box with no wobble. Keep in mind I've only had this installed for about 1 week. Hopefully it will stay in balance. Fan is modern and sharp looking. Cons: Just as others reviewed....it's irritating that the reverse switch for Summer and Winter is inconveniently placed. You have to remove the, very hard to put on and off, glass globe. I believe Hunter's idea was to make the fan sleeker looking by not having the switch on the outside but it is way too inconvenient. I hop they rethink that in future fans as well as making the glass globe to be easier to put on and take off. All that said, I like the fan so much I'm going to by one more just like it but I might purchase 1 or 2 extra glass globes as I can see it will be easy to break them getting them on and taking them off. The switch and the globe are the reasons that I can't give this fan 5 stars.

This fan is squat and ugly. Not what was shown in the picture.

Fan was easily and neatly installed by the Home Depot contractor; it runs smoothly and quietly so far, but the LED lights in the light kit are way too dim for my usage and I don't see any real difference from max wattage to "dimmable" whatever that was intended to accomplish. So overall: fan--very good; light output-- poor. I've had it about three weeks now.

Fairly easy to assemble.good quality we have dempsey hunter fans thru out the house wish the finish could have been satin nickel. It still looks really nice & functions well

No assembly issues; however, if you have trouble programming the remote control, call Hunter's toll free number and request by e-mail the 12-step process for available programming configurations. With this document and the owner's manual which comes with the fan, you should be able to resolve programming issues.

Perfect for my new canopy on the deck!

We hung our fan this weekend. It went pretty well except when putting on the blades. This was the hardest part because the fan was suspended...If I were to hang the fan again I would put the blades on before hanging the fan. The instructions were easy to follow, it runs very quietly and looks great!

It took me literally two months to choose 2 fans for my Aluma-wood patio. I finally found this one and when they arrive I install them and they looked excellent. I love how close they are to the ceiling, they don't drop down to low. The remote controls make it very convenient to control the fan and light. The only downfall is the light cover it blocks out a lot of light when you need it, I wish it would have been clear or not as foggy.

Definitely pleased with this purchase. Very quiet and can move a lot of air! Biggest downside is the incredibly ugly remote that it comes with (beige/tan). Smaller downside is that the light is not very bright.

The Dempsey 52 in. Outdoor Ceiling Fan has become a welcome addition to our Florida lanai. A very quiet, outdoor rated "air mover", that looks good enough to be installed in any room of the house. The remote control makes very convenient to change fan speed and dim the LED light bulbs to whatever level best suits the occasion. I found only one minor disappointment - changing the direction of air flow requires removing the light globe to access the switch that's located inside the light housing.

The Dempsey 52 inch outdoor fan is made by Hunter, which usually ensures great quality. This fan is no exception. Installation instructions were very clear and it was easy to install. The contemporary design complements my outdoor furniture perfectly. It's quiet and produces good light from the included LED bulbs. It's operated via the remote control. I used the black color blade, but they can be reversed to a brown color.
